works to promote a culture of creative

enterprise in the East Midlands and

provide support for young creative

professionals to gain the knowledge and

experience they need to be successful

creative entrepreneurs and media

practitioners.

As an established creative design

agency we are in an ideal position to

offer young people training and real-

life work experience. In addition,

we use our online publication and

website From Dusk 2 Dawn as a

portfolio and networking platform for

students looking to work in the region’s

informal educational institutions, from

short lectures and workshops, to the

Typical Learning Outcomes:

Testimonials“For young people needing to progress

into the ever-demanding world of

freelancing, Seed Creativity helps

them take those big professional steps.

The dynamic ‘Creatives Working

Commercially’ programme gives them the

opportunity to collaborate and network.

Live projects involved creating social

media campaigns briefed by established

brands like Tate. Guest speakers like Peter

Kitchen (Rock Kitchen Harris), illustrator

Joe Wilson and John Coster (Citizen’s Eye)

gave our group a taster of the industry.

Seed Directors Dan and Jon were and

are always there to support students all

the way. I lacked the skills to market my

portfolio effectively; now they’re getting

better as I go along.”

and entry-level best practice to working

in the media industry. The programme

provides real-life platforms, scenarios

“The live brief boosted my confidence to present, explain and develop my concepts in front of my peers and an established design agency. This proved helpful in further projects throughout my second year at University where I gained the confidence to push my ideas to a range of different clients. Working with the team at Seed Creativity is superb; the opportunities they have given me are a brilliant edition to my career development and ever-growing portfolio.”
