Please first read the instructions carefully by yourself and then read them aloud to the students,

translating if and where necessary. Kindly also read out aloud, translating if necessary, the

instructions on the Candidate’s Paper, before each exercise.

You are allowed one minute to look carefully at the picture on your examination paper.

(Allow 1 minute)

You shall be listening to seven statements that refer to the picture on your examination paper.

Some of these statements are true, but others are false. You are to mark with an X in the

appropriate column. I shall read the seven statements one by one and then, after the first

reading, I shall give you a minute to mark your answers. Then I shall read the statements a

second and final time and you will have one minute for revision.

Note to teachers: Please read the numbers of the statements very clearly in Italian.

1. Questa fattoria è in mezzo alla campagna.

2. Ci sono due bambini oggi alla fattoria.

3. Il bambino gioca con il cane.

4. La bambina dà da mangiare al piccolo cavallo.

5. Ci sono degli uccelli nella stalla.

6. Vediamo anche delle papere da tutte le parti.

(Allow 1 minute)

You shall be listening to seven statements. These statements may refer to Immagine A, to

Immagine B, or to both of them. All you have to do is mark with an (X) in the appropriate

column on your examination paper according to what each statement corresponds to. The

statements shall be read out with a short pause between each of them. The seven statements

shall be read out to you twice. At the end you will have two minutes for final revision.

Note to teachers: Please read the numbers of the statements very clearly in Italian.

1. Marco è alla scrivania per fare il compito.

You shall be listening to six statements which refer to six different rooms in this house. All

you have to do is write the number of the statement which corresponds to the correct room in

the corresponding box. The statements shall be read out to you with a short pause between

each of them. The statements shall be read out to you twice. At the end you will have one

more minute for final revision. Be careful! Two of the boxes should remain empty.

1. Qui la Signora Rossi prepara molti piatti deliziosi.

2. Appena alzati i membri della famiglia Rossi entrano in questa camera per lavarsi i denti.
