The Seat SUI is an utility vehicle 2+2 destined for use in town. This car gives priority to agility to move well in urban areas and park anywhere. Seat SUI presents an excellent and neat retro look with rounded shapes, sporty elegant character and coupé features.

Seat SUI was designed to find a sense of togetherness, to fill that empty space that drivers feel when they are alone inside the vehicle. The outer shape of Seat SUI was born from the representation of a tear, aerodynamics’s quinte-sence or streamline.

Seat SUI evokes the past with this figure. It is characterized by emotional tears which are synonimous with vulnerability, and be-come a strategy to approach someone emotionally.

The car’s whole exterior represents strength, emotions and per-sonalities as well as sporty elegance that evokes the past due to the representation of a teardrop and excellent design of the 30s which are synonimous with speed.

SEAT SUI is designed for a sensitive and loving young girl. The most important thing for her is to feel loved and be with her family, partner and friends at all times. Freedom, happiness and escaping the monotony is paramount to her. Her dream is to travel the world, meet new cultures and live day by day.

That’s why the SEAT SUI is inspired by an embrace. The concept seeks the customer to feel accompanied at all times, fill that empty space when someone is alone; the quintessence of spaces. The embrace gives us protection, security and conficende.

CHILLIDA LINE

SEAT SUI has been taken as a reference to the famous Spanish sculptor Eduardo Chillida, known for making compositions inspi-red by simple embraces; pieces that fit together like puzzles.

The interior of the SEAT SUI represents a simple but careful look. Modern and yet not without classic details with hints to the past that can be applied to the steering wheel or the seats. The car‘s dashboard is divided by a strip of colour to the two pieces and embrace agreed between them, at the same time involving the kombi.

Complementary coloUrs

Complementary colours in the Colour & Trim represent the con-sensual union of two bodies. The embrace symbolizes the whole vehicle concept, and also has relation to the exterior. With the application of complementary colours we also determine the to-getherness feeling, because these colours create optical ghostly effects. When we look at a colour for a little while, we notice its complementary colour at the time when we turn our eyes away.

ESSENTIAL NATURE

We also consider nature to represent user preferences and need to be surrounded by pure elements without ornamentation. In “Colour & Trim” it is fundamental that nature creates purity in the whole concept.

COMPLEMENTARY QUINTESSENCE

This is based on the relationship of complementary colours with six combinations of the different essences of nature: Earth, Wa-ter, Fire and Air. To create Quintessence, it requires an extremely light substance that occupies all empty spaces as a fluid; That is to say; a feeling of great togetherness.

Summer scenes; solar heat emits sparks on earth; a hot little bud acce- lerates then suddenly wildfire erupts. The speed of the flames spread-ing from its place of origin; smoke and burning smell; the fire’s aggres-siveness in living nature .

The red colour of fire represents quintessential energy, while aggres-siveness represents the lively and stimulation character, and green symbolizes the colour of nature. This colour combination expresses the embrace between Earth & Fire.

Orange conveys happiness, joy and energy which combined with the blue means an intermediate state of calm, tranquility and relaxation. This range of colours results the predominance of orange that produces an invigorating and mentally stimulating effect on the outside and the peaceful inside.

The concept of purple-blue and orange-yellow symbolizes the union between these two natural elements of life. The purple-blue represents the cold polar nights, transmitting freshness, cleanliness and quiet. The orange-yellow represents feelings with heat, attraction and energy.
