Searching the Follett Destiny Library Catalog & Creating a Personal Resource List

1. Open Chrome or Safari

2. Go to : library.jerichoschools.org (Don’t add www.)

3. Click on George A. Jackson Elementary School. (You should see a sunflower.)

4. Click Log In - in the blue bar at the top of the page.

5. Use the “Log in using your Destiny account option. Type your 5 digit ID number in BOTH boxes. ID # is your lunch number.

6. Click Catalog in the blue bar at the top.

7. Click Destiny Discover on the left side menu.

8. This will open the Destiny Discover window. 9. Use the Search bar to find books on your reading level. Example….. type “Level S” (inside quotation marks) and click the Search button. 11. The results will appear on the next screen.

12. Click a filter to focus your search. If you click the Genre filter, you will be able to see how many books in each genre are available on your level.

13. Click on a book cover image to get details about the book.

14. Click the Favorite button if you think you’d like to read it.

15. Click the 3 lines … & then My Stuff to view your list of Checkouts, Holds, and Favorites.

You can even personalize your Profile by picking an emoji or sticker. Explore on your own to discover more about the books in our library.
