National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence
This Friday, 15th March marks the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence. The theme this year is “Bullying, no way! Take Action Everyday”.
This day gives schools the chance to take action and empower young people to address bullying. At Woolgoolga Public School we are marking this important day by extending our bullying pledge wall adding new kindergarten students. Years 1 to 4 will complete a hand activity which will be displayed in our office foyer and stage 3 will be participating in a cyber bullying workshop next week.
PSSA Coffs Harbour District Soccer
On the 5th March Jessica, Ella, Chloe, Hadley, Jesse, Patrick, Max, Tully and Riley attended the PSSA Coffs Harbour District soccer trials. Three students, Max, Hadley and Chloe were successful and will now participate in the Mid North Coast trials on Tuesday, 19th March. We are extremely proud of the students who attended and their efforts

Australia is a vibrant and multicultural country — from the oldest continuous culture of our first Australians to the cultures of our newest arrivals from around the world.
Our cultural diversity is one of our greatest strengths and is at the heart of who we are. It makes Australia a great place to live.
Multicultural Australia is an integral part of our national identity. All people who migrate to Australia bring with them some of their own cultural and religious traditions, as well as taking on many new traditions. Collectively, these traditions have enriched our nation.

2S have been working on creating ‘decorative salt jars’ for their fete stall.
The students colour the salt using chalk and then place it in jars. They explored different ways of placing the salt in the jar and organising colour schemes to create different visual effects. These will be on sale for $3.00 each.
