Preliminaries

Introduction by Dr. Rachel B. Picardal,BAC Vice-Chairperson

The Vice-Chairperson of the Bids and Awards Committee, Dr. Rachel B. Picardal, closed the submission of

the bidding documents at 4:30 pm.

The Opening of Bids for FY 2018, Provision of Health Supplies for All Kinder to Grade 3 Learners.

For this project, we only have one participating bidder, in the name of Chuyte Ordoñez Store.

Business Matters

Opening of the Bids

The Vice-Chairperson of the Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), Dr. Rachel B. Picardal divided the members

of the BAC accompanied by the members of the TWG, Inspectorate and Secretariat into three groups for the

opening and evaluation of the bidding documents received.

Vice Chairperson before proceeding checked on the Bid Documents for reference. She clarified that the

Approved Budget for the contract is Php 1,563,875.00 and that there is only one lot for this particular bidding.

The Vice-Chairperson of the BAC, Dr. Rachel B. Picardal after evaluation of the bidding documents received

declared that Chuyte Ordoñez Store was a sole complying bidder and announced the Abstract of Bids as per

read (see attached document).

The BAC Vice-Chair reminded the bidder of the 120 calendar-day period for completion of the project. The

awarding of the winner of the bid shall be after recalculation/re-evaluation of the bidding documents and

post-qualification which will then be scheduled. The winning bidder, in this case, Chuyte Ordoñez Store, being

the sole complying bidder shall then be notified. The BAC members requested that the winning bidder

prepares ahead sample of the supplies subject in the bidding during the post-qualification. Dr. Rachel B.

Picardal, Vice Chairperson of the BAC asked the body if there are any more questions or clarifications. There

being none, she declared the meeting adjourned.
