Working principle of screw jacks

V-Travelling Ball Screw Type

Main components of screw jacks are; trapezoidal lifting screw,worm screw, worm gear and gear housing. Worm screw is rotatedmanually or by motor. With the rotation of the worm gear, thescrew in it moves upwards or downwards linearly. If the screw endconnection is connected to the free load, the screw rotatescircularly and moves up and down. If it is connected to a fixedload, the gearbox in the jack receives the movement from thegear unit and the trapezoidal screw moves only linearly up anddown. In other words, it acts the same as the Wedged type, sothere is no need to open wedge channel to trapezoidal screw. Thefeed rate of the screw depends on the turning speed, the numberof teeth of the gears and the size of the screw pitch.

K-Travelling Ball Wedge Screw Type

Main components of screw jacks are; trapezoidal lifting screw,worm screw, worm gear and gear housing. Worm screw is rotatedmanually or by motor. With the rotation of the worm gear, thescrew in it moves upwards or downwards linearly. The wedgechannel is opened to the screw to prevent the rotation of thescrew and only the upward and downward movement of the screwis provided. In this way, the importance of the screw connection iseliminated. The feed rate of the screw depends on the turningspeed, the number of teeth of the gears and the size of the screwpitch.

T-Travelling Ball Nut Type

Main components of screw jacks are; trapezoidal lifting screw,worm screw, lifting nut and gear housing. Worm screw is rotatedmanually or by motor. With the rotation of the gear, the screw thatis inside the screw jack only makes rotation around it's axis. Theflange, which is produced from the bronze material on the screwshaft moves linearly upwards or downwards. One of the purposesof using such systems is the lack of ducting or storage for themovement of the screw used in the ball screw type and ballwedge screw type. In addition, the screw does not come downfrom the jack base. The feedrate of the screw depends on theturning speed, the number of teeth of the gears and the size ofthe screw pitch.

A-Type

V and K types of screw jacks does not have protectedbellow and cover pipe.

B-Type

V and K types of screw jack have protected bellow. Usedto protect aganist external factors (water, dust, etc.).Bellow length should be equal to screw stroke length.

Installation Examples

The motorized screw jack is designed so that motor and shaft connection can be made in bothdirections. The choice of gear unit type, motor type and interconnection shaft types (according) tothe load and materials to be lifted is determined by our company. The choice of X and Y type isdetermined by our company according to the requested pace and according to the specificationsstated in the order form and the best efficiency and also performance is ensured.
