Working principle of screw jacks

V-Travelling Ball Screw Type

Main components of screw jacks are; trapezoidal lifting screw,worm screw, worm gear and gear housing. Worm screw is rotatedmanually or by motor. Worm gear is rotated by worm screw. Thelifting screw moves through the rotating worm gear. If free loadconnected to screw jack, screw will rotate circularly and move upande down. If it is constantly load, screw will move vertical wayslinearly. The linear motion speed of lifting screw depends onthread size and rotation ratio of worm gears.

Travelling Ball Screw Type

K-Travelling Ball Wedge Screw Type

Main components of screw jacks are; trapezoidal lifting screw,worm screw, worm gear and gear housing. Worm screw is rotatedmanually or by motor. Worm gear is rotated by worm screw. Thelifting screw moves through the rotating worm gear. In order toprevent/block screw's rotation, wedge should be opened to screw.By this way, the screw can just move vertically. Screw connectiontype's importance will be put away. The linear motion speed oflifting screw depends on thread size and rotation ratio of wormgears.

With the rotation of the gear, the screw thatis inside the screw jack only makes its rotation about its axis. Theflange, which is produced from the bronze material on the screwshaft moves linearly upwards or downwards. One of the purposesof using such systems is the lack of ducting or storage for themovement of the screw used in the screw type and screw typecockp. Although screw jack doesn't lift down from bottom. Thelinear motion speed of lifting screw depends on thread size androtation ratio of worm gears.

V and K types of screw jacks does not have protectedbellow and cover pipe.

B-Type

V and K types of screw jack have protected bellow. Used toprotect aganist external factors (water, dust, etc.). Bellowlength should be equal to screw stroke length.

Installation Examples

The motorized or reducible screwed jack is designed so that motor and shaft connectioncan be made in both directions. The choice of gear unit type, motor type andinterconnection shaft types (according) to the load and materials to be lifted is determinedby our company.
