SCREENSHOT'S OF

DOCUMENTARY

In the making of the documentary we had to log and transfer all the video we had made and rename reach of them so we can easily recognize the order in which we are going to be implementing in the timeline.

After logging and transferring, we put the videos onto the timeline to be edited in which we can used implementing texts, fades etc.

With the window on the left we controlled the settings of the individual video in which we used it make it blurry, adding text boxes, zooming, cropping and cutting videos short so we can only use the bit that we need. The window on the right is the option menu for the text box in which we could control the font and size of the font.

On the left side we see there is an effect window which is used to add effects in video to either make it look more appealing or for editing out unwanted parts. On the right side is an example in which we used Cross dissolve to make the interview run more smoothly.

The tool on the left is the fade tool which makes an transition more appealing then a normal cut and we used it in most of our videos as it was simple technique and most documentaries used it so it was a convention we had to follow.

The Cut tool was also a very useful tool as it splits an individual video so either we can cut out the unwanted part or the join to different parts of a same video together. On the right we used the cut tool to split out the unwanted part in the interview.
