Psalm 98 PSALM 98

O sing a new song to the Lord, for He has worked wonders. His right hand and His holy arm have brought salvation. The Lord has made known His salvation, has shown His deliverance to the nations. He has remembered His merciful love and His truth for the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. Shout to the Lord, all the earth; break forth into joyous song, and sing out your praise.

Second Reading: 1 John 4: 7-10 Gospel Acclamation: Festival Alleluia - James Chepponis

Gospel: John 15: 9-17 Homily

The Apostles' Creed

I believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried; He descended into hell; on the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

2. Since God has given his love to us, therefore let us love one another. If we love one another, God will love us, and live in us in perfect love.

3. Ev’ryone who loves is begotten of God and knows him as the Father. But they who do not love do not know God, for God is love.

4. Let not your hearts be troubled, for love has no room for fear. In love all fear is forgotten, for God is here with us.
