COLOURS’ DAY

Children usually learn about colours during their preschool years. Recognizing the colours and identifying its name is an important part of a

child’s development. School of knowledge celebrated Colours’ Day on 26 -10-2016. A special assembly was conducted by the students of FS 1- C. All

children and teachers dressed colourfully to celebrate this occasion. Our tiny tots looked beautiful in their coloured attires. They enjoyed the day singing

songs and identifying the colours they learnt.

The student of FS 1-D conducted an assembly on classroom rules to show that “rules” play an important role in our lives. It made them realize the importance of discipline in one’s life and ways to keep them safe. Learning objective: To nurture the development of intrapersonal intelligence.

By obeying and following the rules, we can make our world a better place to live in.

Martyrs’ Day, is the time to honour and remember those brave

hearts who have given the ultimate sacrifice for their beloved

country. A special assembly was held on the 30th of November,

2016 in remembrance of the soldiers who laid their lives for the

UAE. A minute of silence was observed to respect the martyrs

and later our supervisor, Mrs. Ulfat spoke on the importance of

the day.

UAE National day was celebrated on the 29th of November 2016 with true patriotic spirit. A special

assembly was conducted by the students of FS 1- H. It served as a platform for the young minds to learn

about UAE and its culture. Students shared information about UAE and sang UAE National song. Children

came dressed in the UAE Flag colours. Later during the day they enjoyed colouring the UAE Flag.

“Innovation is the key to success” The “Sport’s Day” for our Kindergarteners was held on the 14th of December, 2016 in our school premises. The theme for the year was “Innovation is the key to

Success”. Participation in such events teaches children the benefits of goal-setting and practice. It was a fun-filled and successful day, where the entire group of students from FS- 1 took part in the drills and novelty races. The event started with a welcome note by the chief guest

Mr. John Turner followed by singing of the UAE National anthem and recitation from the Holy Quran. FS 1 students displayed their talents through drill and their strength and fitness through the different novelty races like –One team, One Mission and Our Team’s Dream. The parents and audience appreciated and encouraged

the students. It was indeed a great day.

Choose a quiet place for your child to do assignments away

from distractions.

Ensure that your child is sitting in the same place at a

specific time.

Always provide healthy food to your kid.

Put your child early to bed.
