Week Five Oct 26 – Breakfast Facts continued on the morning

announcements with the secretary, Ms. Ogle checking in with

students to see if they ate breakfast. She greeted them in the

front hallway.

Mrs. Hankinson, a.k.a TC Princeapple, dressed up as an

apple at the fall festival and tweeted the photo!

Week Four Oct. 19 Morning announcements were shared on

the P.A. promoting the breakfast tasting at Fall Festival. The

Fall Festival was held after school hours and was well

attended by the community, parents, and students.

A Robocall/Twitter announcing this event was sent this week

also. The Breakfast Tasting at the Fall Festival was held on

Oct. 23 and included nutritional facts for each item. Parents

and students sampled breakfast pizza, apple cinnamon

Prior to the Breakfast Challenge 30% of

the students at our school participated in

the “Active Healthy Kids Calendar”

program which included a breakfast

component.

The whole school also participated in singing a breakfast song called, B-R-E-A-K-F-A-S-T as part

of our first quarter PBIS celebration. The song can be found at:
