School Information
Our school is new and modern, it’s very cosy and all the pupils
like it very much. It was founded in 2011. There are about 2, 000
pupils in it.
It has four floors. There are classrooms for all subjects:
History, Physics, Maths, Chemistry, Geography, English, comput
er Studies, etc. There is a school hall in our school.
Meetings, conferences, concerts usually take place in our
assembly hall, which is situated on the first floor.
Our school has a sports-ground, a football field, a tennis
court and a basketball ground. Many pupils are fond of sports
and they have a good opportunity to go in for different kinds of it.
School program Developing barrier-free environment for disabled pupils
became one of the dominant aims of our school.
Also our school closely works with the church, and it
promotes spiritual growth of every person who studies
here.
There is a museum of family traditions in our school. It has
been found recently, but nevertheless there were some
exhibitions not long ago.
INTRODUCING THE COMMUNITY
Grodno is a city in Belarus. It is located on the Neman
River, close to the borders of Poland and Lithuania
(about 20 km and 30 km away respectively). It has
300, 000 inhabitants. It is the capital of Grodno Region
(voblast) and Grodno raion (district).
Special characteristics
26 international, republic and regional festivals and
competitions take place in the Grodno region annually.
Grodno is one of the most beautiful cities in Belarus, with
castles and architectural monuments.
The region’s main attractions include:
