ABOUT THE FOUNDATION Established in 1999, the College Station ISD Education Foundation is a non-profit, tax-exempt 501 (c) (3) public corporation operating independent-ly under its own board of directors. Tax-deductible gifts made to the Foundation provide funds for opportunities above and beyond the normal operating budget of the school district which are not available through tax revenues.

annually to implement in their classrooms

l Scholarships - awarded to graduating seniors pursuing a two- or four-year college

or trade school

l Amy Anderson Literacy Legacy - a program that provides a $10 voucher for every

Pre-K/Head Start student to purchase his or her own books at their school's book

fair.

l Chrissy's Closet - A free store for CSISD students and staff to obtain new or gently

used clothes, shoes, coats, and personal hygiene items once per month.l Success 24/7 - a district-wide learning website for 7th-12th grade students to

support core curriculum classes

l Senior Hall of Fame Banquet - a special recognition program where seniors are

voted on by their high school teachers based on their leadership, integrity, school

spirit and positive attitude; their educator of their choice is also honored.

l Star Educator - an opportunity for students, parents and the community to honor an

educator in Dec. or May by donating $10 or more to the Education Foundation. Each

receives a certificate, lapel pin and Eagle recognition.

Compassionate Care Hospice and has served as a debate mentor at SpiderSmart Learning Center. She is a pianist, violinist,

He runs cross country and track and is also a member of the CUMC Youth Choir and served on several mission trips. He volunteers at Save Our Streets Ministries and the Southgate Summer Lunch program. He was an American Legion Boys State Delegate in 2017.

She has been a state qualifier for the Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE) competition all four years and also won the VASE Gold Seal.

She plans to attend Baylor University to major in nursing. She is president of Cougar Mentors, vice president of the

Pro Life club and a member of HOSA, FCCLA Culinary, Cougar Pals and National Honor Society. She has volunteered at

CSISD summer day camp and the Brazos Valley Food Bank.

Prashansa GautamA&M Consolidated High School She plans to attend Prairie View A&M University to major in bioenvironmental science. She is secretary of the Interact club and a member of HOSA, BPA and the International Cultural club. She volunteers as a teen leader at the Larry J. Ringer Library and is a student certified nursing assistant (CNA) at College Station Medical Center, Baylor Scott and White, and Generations for Senior Living.
