A Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Ring will be set up to provide Schemedemonstrations and offer exhibitors the opportunity to take part and achieve their

Bronze Award Certificate.

The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme is the largest Dog Training Programme in the UK andencourages dog owners to recognise the responsibilities they have in owning a dog. To date over 200Training organisations participate in the Scheme, which in turn has produced over 142,000 proud recipients ofthe Good Citizen Dog Scheme Bronze Award Certificate.

The Scheme incorporates all aspects of domestic dog owning situations including general health care,grooming, basic obedience and control exercises. Whether you have a domestic pet dog or a show winner, awell-behaved dog is of primary importance. Remember you can have brains as well as beauty!

Testing sessions will be held throughout the day, so come along to the ring when you have a spare momentand take part. No need to pre-book. A fee of £1.00 per dog will be made - all of which will be donated to theKennel Club Charitable Trust.

CAR PARKING£4.00 (with entry fee) £5.00 (on the day) Exhibitors cars will be parked behind the appropriatebenching tent. Car parking passes indicating the number of the Exhibitors benching tent will be sent ifparking is pre-paid. It is in the exhibitors interest to pre-pay so that they are parked near to the correctbenching marquee.

CARAVANS£45.00 (with entry fee) £50.00 (if paid on arrival)Caravans will be allowed on site from 8 am on Monday 25th September and may stay until Monday2nd October. The caravan site is not within the precincts of the show. Exhibitors passes will becollected at the entrance to the show. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and exercising on therace-track is strictly forbidden. The Society accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage toproperty on the caravan site. Please make sure your property and dogs are secure at all times.Caravans will not be admitted to the site between the hours of 10 pm and 8 am. A holding area will bein operation during these times.The site is under the control of the Society’s appointed wardens any one not complying with his/hersinstructions will be asked to leave.

ONLY PRE-PAID CATALOGUES WILL BE AVAILABLE - To be collected before 11.00 am

DOGS ENTERED NOT FOR COMPETITIONDogs may be entered not for competition (entry fee £14.00). The entry must be made on the entryform and details of the dog given. They must be four months or over on the first day of the show.

FOULINGAny owner, exhibit, handler or other person in charge of a dog is required to remove immediately anyfouling caused by their dog(s) and any other grooming waste, at any Kennel Club Show within thelicensed venue and within the environs of that event including car and caravan parks and approaches.Adequate receptacles for the disposal of such fouling/grooming waste will be provided by the Society.

BOXES AND CAGESThere will be areas for boxes and cages. Gangways must be kept clear and any obstructions or dogboxes left in gangways will be removed by authorised officials.CAGES WILL NOT BE PROVIDED FOR TOY DOGS benching will be available.

Driffield Agricultural Society Championship Dog ShowRules and Regulations

1 The Show will open at 7.30 am on each day.2 Dogs will be received until 11.00 am and after which no dogs may be received except under exceptional

and unforeseen circumstances and by special permission of the Show Management.3 Judging will commence at 9.00 am.4 Exhibits may be removed from the Show after their judging has been completed. Exhibits may not be

removed any earlier unless by written order of the Veterinary Surgeon, Veterinary Practitioner or of theShow Management and then only in very exceptional and unforeseen circumstances which must bereported to the Kennel Club. The Show will close half an hour after all judging has been completed at whichtime dogs must be removed.

5 The use of cooking stoves in the proximity of tenting and benching areas is forbidden except as authorisedby the Show Management.

6 Entry Fees (all include VAT): Breeds with CC’s: £26.00 1st entry per dog; Breeds without CC’s: £14.00 1stentry per dog; Each subsequent entry with same dog: £5.00; Not for Competition: £14.00; Stakes & YKC:£14.00 if 1st entry, £5.00 if subsequent entry. 7 There will be no Prize Money in the Breed or A.V.N.S.C. classes. See adverts for Stakes classes.8 The committee reserves to itself the right to refuse entries.9 Puppies under six calendar months of age on the first day of the Show are not eligible for exhibition.

10 The mating of bitches within the precincts of the Show is forbidden.11 Best Puppy in Show There is no competition for Best Puppy in Show.12 Best in Show. From 1st January 2017, and for a period of one year the Kennel Club Show Regulations

which stipulate that dogs must be entered and exhibited in a breed class before exhibiting in an Any VarietyClass/Stakes Class and that only unbeaten dogs are eligible to compete in the group or best in showcompetitions are suspended. (Please refer to the FAQs on the Kennel Club Website for further information).The dog declared Best in Show is a dog which has competed and is unbeaten by any other dog exhibited atthe same Show.Definition of a Category 3 Breed. A breed from time to time designated by the General Committee asrequiring particular monitoring by reason of visible condition(s) which may cause health or welfareconcerns. The list of designated Category 3 Breeds is kept under regular review.a. Shows Judged on the Group System

(Definition: Shows judged on the Group system include classes for breeds within more than one Group,as defined in Kennel Club Regulation B(A); and requires a judge to declare a Best of each Group afterwhich the exhibits so declared will compete for the award of Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show).(1) Best of Breed. Where a breed is separately classified a Best of Breed may be declared but only

from those exhibits which have received a first prize in a breed class at the show. Where separateclasses are provided for each sex of a breed a Best of each Sex must be declared.NOTE: The Best of Breed/Best Any Variety Not Separately Classified award relevant to aCategory 3 Breed will not be confirmed until the dog has passed an examination by the Generaland Group Championship Show Veterinary Surgeon.

(2) Best of Group. From 1st January 2017, and for a period of one year the Kennel Club ShowRegulations which stipulate that dogs must be entered and exhibited in a breed class beforeexhibiting in an Any Variety Class/Stakes Class and that only unbeaten dogs are eligible tocompete in the group or best in show competitions are suspended. (Please refer to the FAQs onthe Kennel Club Website for further information).Best of Group and subsequent Group placings must be selected from:(a) The Best of Breed winners in each Group provided that they are unbeaten winning dogs.(b) The best unbeaten winning dog from the Any Variety Not Separately Classified classes in

each Group or on each day.NOTE: The dog declared Best of Breed/Best Any Variety Not Separately Classified from a breeddesignated by the Kennel Club as a Category 3 Breed is not eligible to compete in the Groupcompetition unless it has passed an examination by the Show’s Veterinary Surgeon. If the dog fails topass the examination it is ineligible to compete in the relevant Group.

(3) Best in Show. From 1st January 2017, and for a period of one year the Kennel Club ShowRegulations which stipulate that dogs must be entered and exhibited in a breed class beforeexhibiting in an Any Variety Class/Stakes Class and that only unbeaten dogs are eligible tocompete in the group or best in show competitions are suspended. (Please refer to the FAQs onthe Kennel Club Website for further information).Best in Show must be selected from the Best of Group winners provided they are unbeaten.Reserve Best in Show must be selected from the remaining Group winners following the selectionof Best in Show.

b. Withdrawal from Other Competition. Dogs which become eligible for Best of Group and Best in Showmay be withdrawn from all other competition (other than Breed Classes and Best of Breed) prior to thecompetition for Best of Group or Best in Show as appropriate in order to remain unbeaten. A dog beatenin competition for Best of Group or Best in Show may subsequently be exhibited in all competition forwhich it was previously eligible. The dogs declared Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show however,

must not compete in any subsequent competition. Dogs may be withdrawn from Any Variety Classeswhen judged before Breed Classes.

c. Proviso. For the purposes of this Regulation dogs beaten in competition for Stud Dog, Brood Bitch,Progeny, Brace and Team or a Special Award confined to a single breed, will not be considered to bebeaten dogs.

13 Exhibits will not be admitted to Group or Best in Show competition after a period of ten minutes has elapsedsince the announcement that exhibits are required for judging, unless they have been unavoidably delayedby previous judging not being completed on time, and then only with the special permission of the ShowManagement.

14 Exhibitors must not pick up dogs by their tails and leads when lifting them. This is not acceptable. Exhibitorsshould note that such practice would constitute harsh handling and reports of such practice will be referredto the Committee under Kennel Club Show Regulation F11.

15 It is not acceptable to handle a dog in a manner which causes its feet not to touch the ground when on themove. Exhibitors should note that such practices could constitute harsh handling and reports of suchpractice will be referred to the Committee under Kennel Club Show Regulation F11.

16 All exhibitors must be familiar with Kennel Club Regulation F (Annex B) Regulations for the Preparation ofDogs for Exhibition.

17 All dogs resident outside of the UK must be issued with a Kennel Club Authority to compete number beforeentry to the show can be made. All overseas entries without an Authority to Compete number will bereturned to the exhibitor/competitor.

18 DOGS IN VEHICLES ON HOT DAYS. Your dog is vulnerable and at risk during hot weather and the KennelClub offers the following guidance to help guide you through the do’s and don’ts travelling to and whilst atKennel Club licensed events.• When travelling to a show please take a moment to consider whether the route to the show is on a

busy holiday route, and leave earlier to avoid increased time in traffic jams.• If your vehicle is not air-conditioned seriously consider whether travelling to the show is a good idea at all.• The vehicle should be as fully ventilated as possible, and plenty of stops should be taken, with lots of

water available to drink.• Ensure your dog is not sitting in full sunlight. There should be plenty of free flowing air around the dog.• When at the show, never leave your dog in the vehicle.• Keep the dog in the shade — take your own shade, for example a large umbrella and always have

plenty of water available to drink so your dog stays well hydrated.• Avoid your dog taking part in unnecessary exertion, or from standing in exposed sunlight for extended

lengths of time.Remember, if you feel hot your dog is very likely to feel much hotter and dehydrated, and this could lead todire results. Please look after your dog’s welfare.WARNING: IF YOUR DOG IS FOUND TO BE AT RISK, FORCIBLE ENTRY TO YOUR VEHICLE MAY BENECESSARY WITHOUT LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED.

19 Not For Competition entries will be accepted. Details of each dog so entered must be recorded on the entryform and must be Kennel Club registered.Regulation F.1.c: Only dogs of six calendar months of age andover on the first day of the show are eligible for exhibition at Kennel Club licensed shows. Howeversocieties may accept Not for Competition entries at their discretion and dogs aged four calendar months ofage and over are eligible to enter Not for Competition at all Kennel Club licensed shows. Furthermore, dogsaged four calendar months and over are eligible to enter Match Competitions.

20 No modifications will be made to this Schedule except by permission of the General Committee of theKennel Club, which will be followed by notification on-line if possible.

21 All entries must be made on or before Tuesday, 25th July 2017 upon the forms enclosed for that purpose.They will be accepted provided they bear a Royal Mail postmark not later than the 25th July 2017. In yourown interest please use first class mail.

22 Entry fees will not be refunded once an entry is made. The entrance fee of a dog entered but not sent forexhibition will also be forfeited.

23 If acknowledgement of entries is required, a stamped, self-addressed postcard with “receipt” written on thereverse side, should be enclosed for the Secretary’s signature.

24 All dogs must be accompanied and have a strong chain and collar.25 No cages will be provided for Toy dogs. Normal type benching will be provided.26 The Committee is empowered to exclude or remove any dog, which is, in the opinion of the Veterinary

Surgeon of the Show, not in a fit state for exhibition owing to disease, vice or other cause.27 The Catalogue will contain the owners’ names in each breed in alphabetical order, with their dogs in

numerical order. All breeds will be benched together. No bench numbers shall be changed from one pen toanother and no dogs shall be benched on any but its own numbered bench. Under no circumstances maypartitions between dogs be removed (Vide K.C. Reg 17 (c)). Exhibits must be removed from their bencheshalf an hour after all judging has been completed.

28 Each exhibitor will receive a Free Pass for Each Dog entered.29 No dog shall be absent from its bench except for the purpose of being prepared for exhibition, judged,

exercised or by order of the Veterinary Surgeon or Show Committee. After being prepared for exhibition thedog must be replaced on its bench. No dog shall be absent from its bench for the purpose of beingexercised longer than 15 minutes. If a dog is not on its bench when required for judging the Committee will

not be held responsible for its absence from the Show Rings. Dogs may be absent from the benches andbe present at the Ringside when their breed is being judged.

30 No animal other than a dog duly entered for the Show will be allowed within the precincts of the Showduring its continuance. The mating of bitches within the precincts of the Show is forbidden.

31 Should any judge be prevented from fulfilling his engagement, the Committee reserve to themselves theright of appointing another in their place. Exhibitors are at liberty to withdraw from competition but no entryfees will be refunded. The Judges will be instructed and empowered to withhold the prize or prizes in anyclass if, in their opinion, the dog or dogs exhibited do not possess sufficient merit. Judges are notempowered to give prizes beyond those offered in the Schedule of Prizes. All Judges are required to takethe Classes in each Breed in the order in which they are entered in the Judging Book.

32 Conversation is not allowed in the Judging Ring. Exhibitors showing dogs are not permitted to holdconversation with Judges during the competition and any exhibitors who persist in addressing the Judgesafter being requested not to do so by the Ring Steward, the Judge, or any of the Committee, may bedisqualified and any prize awarded to his or her dog or dogs forfeited. No persons other than the exhibitors(officials excepted) will be allowed in the ring during the judging of classes or specials.

33 All Rules & Regulations, or Definitions or Instructions of the nature of Rules and Regulations printed forconvenience in other parts of this Schedule shall be deemed to be the Regulations of the Show Committeeand shall have the same effect as if they formed part these Regulations.

34 The Committee can accept no responsibility for grooming products advertised or sold by Trade Standholders at the Show and remind exhibitors that grooming products on sale may not meet requirements ofthe Regulations for the Preparation of Dogs for Exhibition.

35 Any owner, competitor, handler or other person in charge of a dog is required to remove as soon aspossible any fouling caused by their dog(s) at any Kennel Club licensed show within the licensed venueand within the environs of that event including car and caravan parks and approaches. The Show willprovide adequate exercise areas for exhibitors to exercise their dogs in. Exhibitors and handlers arerequired to clear up any fouling by dogs in their charge. Special bins will be provided for the disposal offouling. Special Stewards will be appointed to enforce the arrangements.

36 Special places will be provided for the convenience of exhibitors desiring to prepare their dogs for exhibition. Noexhibitor shall prepare their dog for exhibition anywhere in the Show except these special places.

37 Every exhibitor making an entry or entries for the Show shall be deemed to have agreed to abide by theKennel Club Limited Rules and Show Regulations and it is on this understanding only that entries are received.

38 Dogs in Vehicles. Remedial action will be taken in the event of dogs left in vehicles being found in adistressed condition.

39 The owner, exhibitor, handler or other person in charge of a dog at Kennel Club licensed events must at alltimes ensure that the dog is kept under proper control whilst at the licensed venue, including its environs,car and caravan parks and approaches.

40 A dog may be disqualified by the General Committee from any award, whether an objection has beenlodged or not, if proved amongst other things to have been registered or recorded as having been bred bythe scheduled Judge. This shall not apply to a Judge appointed in an emergency.

41 Every exhibitor shall ensure that whilst the dog is being exhibited, its handler shall display the correct ring number.42 The Committee of the Kennel Club shall be the final court of appeal or umpire in all questions or disputes of

any kind whatsoever (except where such powers are delegated by the Kennel Club), arising out of KennelClub Limited Rules & Regulations. A person attending or entering a dog for any Show shall, by such act, bedeemed to have agreed with the Committee of the Kennel Club or delegated authority to refer any suchquestion or dispute to the Committee or delegated authority, as the case may be, under the provisions of theArbitration Act 1889, or any statutory notice thereof.

43 Safety of Dogs. The committee will not be responsible for the loss, detention of or damage to any dog,person or property whether arising from accident or any other cause whatever, or from any act or omissionof itself, its officers, agents, servants or others or the damage done by the exhibitors to any person or property.

44 Responsibility. The committee of the Driffield Agricultural Society will not be in any way responsible forany claim for injury or compensation occasioned by or arising out of the holding of the show or by anyreason of the act or default of any person in attendance or present thereat. Neither do they accept anyresponsibility for loss, damage or theft of any dog tables, cages, boxes or personal effects at this show.

45 Photography & Video Rights. The Organisers would like to bring to the attention of exhibitors, tradestands, press and visitors that it is a condition of all those attending the event that no filming or other form ofrecording may be taken or made at the venue without express written permission of the organisers. Thetaking of photographs in the show venue for sale or reward is strictly prohibited except with the writtenpermission of the Organisers. Press accredited photographers are provided with permission to takephotographs ONLY for use in newspapers, magazines and internet sites – this is for news purposes only.There is no objection to the general public taking photographs of general views of the show, provided thatthese are for private use. Specific dogs may be photographed only with the approval of the exhibitor. Nophotography or filming is permitted in breed judging rings whilst judging is actually taking place. However,judges may allow it to happen at the end of classes or after the Challenge Certificate is awarded. Filmingand flash photography is allowed from outside the rings at all times unless the operation of the camera isactually affecting exhibits. However, if a powerful flash unit is used or it is clear that exhibits are beingaffected, a ring steward or the judge is empowered to stop the person concerned.

Definitions of ClassesIn the following definitions, a Challenge Certificate includes any Show award that counts towards the title of

Champion under the Rules of any governing body recognised by the Kennel Club. Wins at Championship Shows inbreed classes where Challenge Certificates are not on offer shall be counted as wins at Open Shows. In the case of adog owned in partnership and entered in Members’ classes or competing for Members’ Specials each partner must atthe time of entry be a member of the Society. In estimating the number of awards won, all wins up to and includingthe seventh day before the date of closing of Postal entries shall be counted when entering for any class i.e.Tuesday, 18th July 2017. Wins in Variety classes do not count for entry in Breed classes but when entering forVariety classes, wins in both Breed and Variety classes must be counted. A First Prize does not include a SpecialPrize of whatever value. A dog is not eligible for entry in Variety Classes unless also entered and subsequentlyexhibited in a Breed class where such a class is provided for which it is eligible.

Exemptions from this Regulation are:From 1st January 2017, and for a period of one year the Kennel Club Show Regulations which stipulate that dogsmust be entered and exhibited in a breed class before exhibiting in an Any Variety Class/Stakes Class have beensuspended.(1) A puppy, unless a class for dogs under twelve months of age for which it is eligible is provided for the breed. (2)A dog in Any Variety Veteran class. (3) A dog in Any Variety Champion Class (4) A dog which is withdrawn fromexhibition in breed classes as a result of the appointment of an emergency judge (5) A dog in The Young Kennel ClubStakes Classes. (6) A dog in KC Good Citizen Scheme Classes (7) Exhibits bred by the scheduled breed Judge.

If an exhibitor reports before the judging of a class or classes that a dog has been entered which is ineligible, theexhibitor may choose one of the following options:(1) Withdrawal. The dog may be withdrawn from competition subject to the conditions of Regulations 9(j) and 20.(2) Transfer

a) If a dog is ineligible for a class or classes as regards its breed, colour, sex, weight or height the Show Secretaryshall transfer it to the equivalent class or classes for the correct breed, colour, sex, weight or height and, in theevent of there being no equivalent class, Minor Puppy and Puppy excepted, to the Open class for the correctbreed, colour, sex, weight or height.

b) For an exhibit entered incorrectly in a Minor Puppy class, Puppy class or Junior class, which is over age butunder 12 calendar months of age, 18 calendar months of age or 24 calendar months of age respectively, the ShowSecretary shall transfer the exhibit to the Puppy class, Junior class or the Yearling class respectively for thecorrect breed, colour, sex, weight or height and in the event of there being no Puppy, Junior or Yearling class tothe Open class for the correct breed, colour, sex, weight or height.

c) For any reason other than the above, the Show Secretary shall transfer it to the Open class for the correctbreed, colour, sex, weight or height.

d) If an exhibit arrives late and misses a class, even if it is the only class in which the dog is entered, the dog maynot be transferred to any other class.

Minor Puppy For dogs of six and not exceeding nine calendar months of age on the first day of the Show.Puppy For dogs of six and not exceeding twelve calendar months of age on the first day of the Show.Junior For dogs of six and not exceeding eighteen calendar months of age on the first day of the Show.Post Graduate For dogs which have not won a Challenge Certificate or five or more First Prizes at Championship

Shows in Post Graduate, Minor Limit, Mid Limit, Limit and Open classes, whether restricted or not, whereChallenge Certificates were offered for the breed.

Limit For dogs which have not become Show Champions under Kennel Club Regulations or under the rules of anygoverning body recognised by the Kennel Club or won seven or more First Prizes in all, at Championship Shows inLimit or Open Classes, confined to the Breed, whether restricted or not, at Shows where Challenge Certificateswere offered for the Breed.

Open For all dogs of the breeds for which the class is provided and eligible for entry at the Show.Any Variety not Separately Classified For breeds of dog for which no separate breed classes are scheduled.Not for Competition Societies may at their discretion, accept Not for Competition entries. Societies may accept such

entries from breeds of dog not included within the title of the Society and at Shows held over more than one day,such entries may be accepted on any day from any breed.

Yearling For dogs of twelve and not exceeding twenty-four months of age on the first day of the Show.Special Veteran Stakes For dogs of not less than seven years of age on the first day of the Show. A dog will not be

eligible for entry if it has already won a similar class for the same event in 2017.Special Champion Stakes For dogs which have been confirmed a Champion, Show Champion or Field Trial

Champion. A dog will not be eligible for entry if it has already won a similar class for this event in 2017.Young Kennel Club Handling Classes Only dogs of six (6) calendar months of age and over on the day of

competition are eligible for entry into a YKC qualifying class. The FIRST placed handler only in each age group atthe qualifying show will qualify for Crufts. A rosette is awarded to the winner. Handling qualfiers run from the 1stJanuary to the 31st December for the following year’s Crufts. If a member is disqualified, the qualification does notroll down to the next placing. Classes for handling are decided by the handler’s age. The classes are divided intothree age groups: 6-11 years (6 years and up to, but not including 12th birthday). 12-16 years (12 years and up to,but not including 17th birthday). 17-24 years (17 years and up to, but not including 25th birthday). In order to enterany YKC competition, you must be a fully paid up member at the time of entry and competition. If you enter a Cruftsqualifier and you have not previously paid your membership fee then any award will be forfeited. Therefore it isimportant to renew and maintain YKC membership as current if you wish to participate in YKC competitions.

Good Citizen Dog Scheme For dogs that have achieved GCDS Bronze Award certificate or above.

REGULATIONS FOR THE PREPARATION OF DOGS FOR EXHIBITION F (B)1 These Regulations must be observed when a dog is prepared for exhibition and/or exhibited at

any Kennel Club Licensed event. Objections may be referred to the General Committee fordisciplinary action under these Show Regulations and/or for disciplinary action under Kennel ClubRule A42.(a) A dog found to have been exhibited in breach of these Regulations will automatically be

disqualified from exhibition at the show and from any award gained thereat.(b) Unless the exhibitor provides a satisfactory explanation for the dog being exhibited in breach

of these Regulations then he/she may be subject to further penalties of either a fine or aslisted under Rule A42.

2 (a) No substance which alters the natural colour, texture or body of the coat may be present inthe dog’s coat for any purpose at any time during the Show. No substance which alters thenatural colour of any external part of the dog may be present on the dog for any purpose atany time during the Show.

(b) Any other substance (other than water) which may be used in the preparation of a dog forexhibition must not be allowed to remain in the coat or on any other part of the dog at the timeof exhibition.

3 No act or operation which alters the natural conformation of a dog or any part thereof may beperformed except:(a) Operations certified to the satisfaction of the General Committee.(b) The removal of dewclaws of any breed.(c) Operations to prevent breeding, provided that such operations are notified to the Kennel Club

before neutered dogs are shown.Nor must anything be done calculated to in the opinion of the General Committee to deceive.

4 The General Committee without previous notice may order an examination of any dog or dogs atany Show. Any examination thus ordered will be made by a person having executive authoritywho shall have a written directive from the Kennel Club in their possession. Samples may betaken for further examination and analysis.

5 An individual has the right to lodge an objection to a dog only if he/she is the owner or handler of adog competing in the same breed or class. An objection may, however, be lodged by an official ofthe Show or by anyone so deputed by the Kennel Club. It will be the responsibility of the individualwho lodges the objection or the official (as appropriate), to substantiate the grounds for theobjection. The Kennel Club will substantiate the grounds for an objection made on its behalf.

6 Any objection by an individual related to an infringement of these Regulations must be made inwriting to the Show Secretary at his/her office before the close of the Show and the individualmust produce evidence of identity at the time of lodging the complaint.The attention of exhibitors is drawn to the fact that any advertisement for a coatpreparation or shampoo or similar in either Schedule or Catalogue does not imply that theuse of such preparation may not contravene Kennel Club Regulations for the Preparationof Dogs for Exhibition F. This also applies to any coat preparation or shampoo or similaron sale at the Show. The attention of exhibitors is directed to the Declaration they arerequired to sign on the entry form.

Only dogs of six (6) calendar months of age and over on the day of competition are eligible for entry into a YKCqualifying class. The FIRST placed handler only in each age group at the qualifying show will qualify for Crufts. Arosette is awarded to the winner. Handling qualfiers run from the 1st January to the 31st December for the followingyear’s Crufts. If a member is disqualified, the qualification does not roll down to the next placing. Classes for handlingare decided by the handler’s age. The classes are divided into three age groups: 6-11 years (6 years and up to, butnot including 12th birthday). 12-16 years (12 years and up to, but not including 17th birthday). 17-24 years (17 yearsand up to, but not including 25th birthday). In order to enter any YKC competition, you must be a fully paid up memberat the time of entry and competition. If you enter a Crufts qualifier and you have not previously paid your membershipfee then any award will be forfeited. Therefore it is important to renew and maintain YKC membership as current ifyou wish to participate in YKC competitions.

Only dogs of six (6) calendar months of age and over on the day of competition are eligible for entry into a YKCqualifying class. The FIRST placed handler only in each age group at the qualifying show will qualify for Crufts. Arosette is awarded to the winner. Handling qualfiers run from the 1st January to the 31st December for the followingyear’s Crufts. If a member is disqualified, the qualification does not roll down to the next placing. Classes for handlingare decided by the handler’s age. The classes are divided into three age groups: 6-11 years (6 years and up to, butnot including 12th birthday). 12-16 years (12 years and up to, but not including 17th birthday). 17-24 years (17 yearsand up to, but not including 25th birthday). In order to enter any YKC competition, you must be a fully paid up memberat the time of entry and competition. If you enter a Crufts qualifier and you have not previously paid your membershipfee then any award will be forfeited. Therefore it is important to renew and maintain YKC membership as current ifyou wish to participate in YKC competitions.
