3)BestinShow:BestinShowmustbeselectedfromtheBestofGroupwinnersprovidedtheyareunbeaten.ReserveBestinShowmustbeselectedfromtheremainingGroupwinnersfollowingtheselectionofBestinShow.

b. WithdrawalfromotherCompetition:DogswhichbecomeeligibleforBestofGroupandBestinShowmaybewithdrawnfromallothercompetitionotherthanbreedclassesandBestofBreedpriortothecompetitionforBestofGrouporBestinShowasappropriateinordertoremainunbeaten.AdogbeatenincompetitionforBestofGrouporBestinShowmaysubsequentlybeexhibitedinallcompetitionforwhichitwaspreviouslyeligible.ThedogsdeclaredBestinShowandReserveBestinShowhowever,mustnotcompeteinanysubsequentcompetition.DogsmaybewithdrawnfromAnyVarietyClasseswhenjudgedbeforeBreedClasses.

c. Proviso:ForthepurposesofthisRegulation,dogsbeatenincompetitionforStudDog,BroodBitch,Progeny,BraceandTeamoraSpecialAwardconfinedtoasinglebreed,willnotbeconsideredtobebeatendogs.

14.ADMISSIONTOGROUPS:ExhibitswillnotbeadmittedtoGrouporBestinShowcompetitionafteraperiodoftenminuteshaselapsedsincetheannouncementthatexhibitsarerequiredforjudging,unlesstheyhavebeenunavoidablydelayedbypreviousjudgingnotbeingcompletedontime,andthenonlywiththespecialpermissionoftheShowMangement.

15.SCHEDULEAMENDMENTS:NomodificationswillbemadetothisScheduleexceptbypermissionoftheGeneralCommitteeoftheKennelClub,whichwillbefollowedbyadvertisementintheCaninePresswhereverpossible.

16.AlldogsresidentoutsideoftheUKmustbeissuedwithaKennelClubAuthoritytoCompetenumberbeforeentrytotheshow/eventcanbemade.AlloverseasentrieswithoutanAuthoritytoCompetenumberwillbereturnedtotheexhibitor/competitor.

17.Dogs in Cars on Hot Days.YourdogisvulnerableandatriskduringhotweatherandtheKennelCluboffersthefollowingguidancetohelpguideyouthroughthedo’sanddon’tstravellingtoandwhilstatKClicensedevents.

• Whentravellingtoashowpleasetakeamomenttoconsiderwhethertheroutetotheshowisonabusyholidayroute,andleaveearliertoavoidincreasedtimeintrafficjams.

• Ifyourvehicleisnotair-conditionedseriouslyconsiderwhethertravellingtotheshowisagoodideaatall.• Thevehicleshouldbeas fullyventilatedaspossible,andplentyofstopsshouldbetaken,with lotsofwater

availabletodrink.• Ensureyourdogisnotsittinginfullsunlight.Thereshouldbeplentyoffreeflowingairaroundthedog.• Whenattheshow,neverleaveyourdoginthevehicle.• Keepthedogintheshade-takeyourownshadeforexamplealargeumbrellaandalwayshaveplentyofwater

availabletodrinksoyourdogstayswellhydrated.• Avoidyourdogtakingpartinunnecessaryexertion,orfromstandinginexposedsunlightforextendedlengthsoftime.

Remember,ifyoufeelhotyourdogisverylikelytofeelmuchhotteranddehydrated,andthiscouldleadtodireresults. Please look after your dog’swelfare. WARNING: IF YOUR DOG IS FOUND TO BE AT RISK FORCIBLE ENTRY TO YOUR VEHICLE MAY BE NECESSARY WITHOUT LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED. AnyonewhosedogisenteredataKennelClublicensedeventshouldtakeallreasonablestepstoensuretheneedsoftheirdog(s)aremet,andshouldnotputadog’shealthandwelfareatriskbyanyaction,default,omissionorotherwise.BreachofKennelClubRegulationsinthisrespectmaybereferredtotheGeneralCommitteefordisciplinaryactionunderKennelClubRulesandRegulations.Exhibitors/CompetitorsareremindedthatshowsocietieshavetherightunderKennelClubRegulationtorefuseanyentry.

18.NotforCompetitionentrieswillbeaccepted.DetailsofeachdogsoenteredmustberecordedontheentryformandmustbeKennelClubregistered.

19.PREPARATIONOFDOGSFOREXHIBITION:AllexhibitorsmustbefamiliarwithKennelClubRegulationF(B)-RegulationsforthePreparationofDogsforExhibition.

20.REGULATIONS:TheShowwillbeheldunderKennelClubRulesandRegulations.Allrules,definitionsorinstructionsofthenatureofRulesandRegulationsprintedforconvenienceinotherpartsofthisScheduleshallbedeemedtoberegulationsoftheShowandshallhavethesameeffectasiftheyformedpartoftheseRegulations.

21.ONLY CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW ENTRY FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED. 22.RECEIPTOFENTRIES:CorrectlypostmarkedentriesreceivedafterMonday,16thJuly2012willbeacceptedbut

willnotbeincludedintheCatalogueduetotheprintingtimetable.Ifacknowledgementofentriesisrequired,anaddressed,stampedcardwith"Receipt"writtenonthereverseshouldbeenclosed.

23.ONCE ENTRIES HAVE BEEN RECEIVED THEY ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. 24.RETURNEDCHEQUES:Exhibitorswhosechequesarereturnedbytheirbankforanyreasonwillbeliabletosettle

theamountsdue,includingabankchargefeeof£10.00. 25.EXCLUSIONOFDOGS:TheShowManagementmayexcludeorremoveanydogwhich,intheiropinionorthatof

theJudge,isnotinafitstateforexhibition. 26.BENCHINGOFDOGS:Exhibitors'dogsofthesamebreedenteredfortheShow(includingNFC)willbebenched

togetherandalldogswillbebenchedinCatalogueorder. 27.SAFETYOFDOGS:TheCommitteewillnotberesponsiblefortheloss,detentionof,ordamagetoanydog,person

orpropertywhetherarisingfromaccident,oranyothercausewhatever,orfromanyactoromissionofitself,itsofficers,agents,servantsorothersorthedamagedonebytheexhibitortoanypersonorproperty.

28.NOTFORCOMPETITION:A"NotforCompetition"classisscheduledoneachdayoftheShowfordogsnotbeingexhibitedattheShowandfordogsnotbeingexhibitedonaparticulardayoftheShow.IfenteredNFConthedayonwhichthebreedisscheduled,dogswillbebenchedwiththeirbreed,otherwisedogswillbebenchedinaseparatearea.Fee:£7.00perdogperday.Thereisnofacilityforunentereddogthereforeexhibitorsarerecommendedtoutilisethe"NotForCompetition"facility.SpectatorDogsarenowwelcome,atafeeof£5.00,payableatgate.

29.PASSES: One dog/one handler pass will be issued for each exhibit. Additional admission passes may be booked with entries at the concessionary price of £4.50 Adult; £3.00 Child/Senior Citizen; £12.00 Family Ticket (admits 2 adults and up to 2 children).
