TRANSCRIPT
Members,
As May comes to a close, I would like to thank all our Members for their contin-ued support of Pawleys
Plantation.
I hope everyone enjoyed the USGA Rules Seminar presented by SCGA repre-sentative Biff Lathrop. It was a pleasure to see so many eager attendees brushing up on their rules
knowledge.
Our Ladies Member / Guest was a huge success thanks to the hard work of the Tournament Commit-tee. We boasted 68 partici-pants, one of the larger turnouts in a few years. The competition was tight atop the leader board with only a few tenths of a stroke separating the win-
ners in most flights.
The Memorial Day Golf Mixer beamed excellent participation as well, with 72 total players. As the only “true” mixer on our tournament calendar, I hope everyone enjoyed the opportunity to play with
different partners.
The tournament calendar continues into June with our next event, the Men’s Member/Guest. The field is currently full with 40 teams total. The Golf Shop has started a waiting list should we experience any last minute changes in sign-up. Additional information will be communicated shortly to include the detailed itin-erary of golf and social
events for the weekend.
Mark your calendars for the Independence Day Golf Tournament to be held on July 4th. Four person team registrations will begin
June 2nd in the Golf Shop.
Please note upcoming course closures for summer aerification June 30th thru
July 3rd.
June’s Member Mixer will be held on Thursday, June 5th. For a complete menu,
please visit page 3.
To celebrate Father’s Day, Chef Leon will bring us a great menu featuring Carved Prime Rib on
Wednesday, June 11th.
As always, the staff at Pawleys Plantation remains committed to providing our members with superior service through our social
and golf events.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions, com-
ments or concerns
I look forward to seeing all
of you in June!
Respectfully Yours,
Sean Zaharakes
From the General Manager
