Saving your UCSF Fresno Emails Important: This procedure is only for the users who receive their emails at the UCSF Fresno’s account and not have their UCSF Fresno email forwarded to a different account. In order to perform this action, you must be logged into UCSF Fresno’s computer and use the Microsoft Outlook program. 1. In Microsoft Outlook, go to File -> Import and Export 2. Select “Export to a file”. 3. Select “Personal Folder File (.pst)” 4. Select the folder that you want to export (inbox, contacts, Calendar, etc.) or Select the top-level (Mailbox – username) 5. Browse to the location where you want to save the file 6. Password field is optional. Press OK and the .pst file will be saved to the location you specified 1 2 3 4 5 6

Saving your UCSF Fresno Emails

Important: This procedure is only for the users who receive their emails at the UCSF Fresno’s account and not have their UCSF Fresno email forwarded to a different account.

In order to perform this action, you must be logged into UCSF Fresno’s computer and use the Microsoft Outlook program.

1. In Microsoft Outlook, go to File -> Import and Export

2. Select “Export to a file”.

3. Select “Personal Folder File (.pst)”

4. Select the folder that you want to export (inbox, contacts, Calendar, etc.) or Select the top-level (Mailbox – username)

5. Browse to the location where you want to save the file

6. Password field is optional. Press OK and the .pst file will be saved to the location you specified

Importing your .pst file into Outlook

You need the .pst file from previous step to perform this action

1. In Microsoft Outlook, go to File -> Import and Export

2. Select “Import from another program or file”.

3. Scroll down and select “Personal Folder File (.pst)”

4. Browse to the location where you saved the .pst file from previous step

5. Select the folder you want to import
