Attention Parents and Graduating Seniors! May 20th is Senior Sunday. Please submit a picture of the person graduating along with his/her name by email at: [email protected] or stop by the office and Darla can scan a picture. Send it in no later than April 20th.
As is our tradition, graduating students are recorded on video. Contact John Moran at [email protected] to schedule a time. Deadline to record for our graduation video is April 30th.
Tables will be set up in the hallway for parents to decorate and display various pictures and memorabilia of their students the weekend of Senior Sunday.

Whirly Ball & Laser Tag Jr. High Event (6th – 8th grade) May 4th 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Cost is $5. Students are encouraged to invite friends. Register online for entry into a drawing for door prizes.

Monday, April 23 - Mercedes Benz Financial Corp at Alliance. We will meet at the SJA parking lot at 7:00 a.m.
TIME CHANGE - Sunday, April 29 - Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Duncanville. MEET AT SJA PARKING LOT AT 2:00. They raised enough money for two packing events. Session One: Sunday 3:30-5:30pm. Goal would be to pack 8,000 meals. This would be open to all Holy Spirit families and parishioners. Session two: 7pm-8:30pm: Goal would be to pack 8,000 meals. This would be for teens in the youth program to pack meals.
Saturday, May 19 - St. John the Apostle UMC - We will set up on Friday evening, 6:30 - Packing event starts Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m.

(week-long for grades 3, 4, 5, and 6th); Cost; $375 Trailblazer 1: June 17-22 Trailblazer 2: July 15-20 Trailblazer Camp is ONE COMBINED CAMP for campers going into 3rd-6th grade in the fall of 2018. It is an overnight, week-long camp with special activities for each grade! 5th-6th graders get to ZIPLINE! Camp activities include worship, fishing, swimming, canoeing, hiking, crafts, archery, small group meetings, and specialized sessions. Click here to see more.
(two nights for grades 1, 2, and 3rd); Cost; $160 Trek Camp: July 20-22 Trek Camp is an introduction to overnight camping for campers going into grades 1, 2, and 3 in the fall of 2018. Campers will stay in lodging with 12-14 campers and 2 trained adults. Campers will travel to camp activities with their roommates and staff members. Vacation Bible School - Peace LAB July 8th-12th
New Study for Adults on Wednesday Evenings The Wednesday night adult Bible study group has started a new series called Restored by Tom Berlin. The book takes a look restoration in our life as Christians. This six-week series will take place on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm and will run until May 16th. All adults are invited.
Builders Sunday School Class New Study The new study: The History of Time by Peter Hiett has just started and it’s not too late to join the class. Join us at 9:45 am in room 150. Purchase a book on Amazon for $15.99.
2018 Altar Flower Calendar Reserve a Sunday for giving flowers as part of your birthday or anniversary celebration or remember someone special. The 2018 calendar is in the office on the bulletin board. $40 is due at the time you sign up. After the last worship service, you get to take that arrangement home.
