HOW TO ASSEMBLE YOUR SAQUA WATER PURIFIER : IT IS VITAL TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONSFOR OPTIMUM EFFICIENCY OF THE SYSTEM.

DO NOT PLACE THE PURIFIER IN DIRECT OR INDIRECT SUNLIGHT OR NEAR HEAT TO AVOID ENCOURAGING THE FORMATION OF MOSS OR ALGAE.

Unpack :1. Unpack your SAQUA Water Purifi er and recycle the packaging

where possible.

Preparing Mineral & Antibacterial Stones :2. Take the Mineral and Antibacterial Stones from their packaging

(fi g.11)and put them in a large bowl or bucket and rinse them with fresh clean water.

Then tip this water onto the garden to make use of the minerals.3. Re-fi ll the bucket with fresh water and soak the stones at least

overnight to remove the mineral dust and improve the taste, try to change the water 2 or 3 times if possible.

Preparing Multi-layer Cartridge :4. After removing all packaging from the Multi-layer cartridge (fi g.8),

place this under a slow running tap to ensure the excess dust is removed from the fi lter (this should take less than 1 minute).

5. Place the multi-layer fi lter cartridge in the bucket with the stones for overnight soaking to ensure all the air bubbles come from the cartridge.

The water will not fl ow through the cartridge effi ciently if there are air bubbles inside.

6. Ensure that the top of the fi lter is under the level of the water.7. It may be necessary to gently tap the sides of the cartridge to

release all air bubbles.8. Place the “O” ring (fi g.7) on the thread section at the top of the

cartridge to make sure you get a perfect seal when screwing the cartridge up into the attaching plate (fi g.6).

Assembling Purifi er :It is best to start assembly from the bottom up. 1. Bottom Tank: 2. Separate the tap making sure that you have the washer in 2

parts. A washer stays on the outside whilst the other washer stays

on the inside of the tank with the magnetic section. Place the other part on the inside of the tank with the back of the tap. Place the washer on the outside with the tap. Tighten to touch-tight only as if it is under or over tightened the

tap may leak. 3. Place pre-soaked stones in the bottom tank. 4. Place the water tank cover (fi g.9) on the top of the bottom tank. 5. Screw the multi-layer cartridge up into the attaching plate (fi g.6)

then place Into the water tank cover (the cartridge will then suspend into the bottom tank).

6. Place the silicone washer (fig.3) on the stem of the ceramic Filter (fi g.2) and insert through the hole in the top tank.

Secure this with the nut (fi g.5) and tighten (not overly). 7. Place this tank onto the stand. 8. Sit the top tank onto the dividing plate. 9. Fill the top tank with water and put on the lid.10. Your system is now operational.

Preparing other PartsRinse all other system parts in warm water with a clean cloth and dry, please do not use any detergents. The ceramic filter can be wiped over with a damp soft cloth under your kitchen tap.

Desempacar :1. Desempaque su purifi cador de agua SAQUA y recicle el empaque

si es posible.

Preparar las Piedras Minerales y Piedras Antibacteriales :2. Tome las piedras minerales y piedras antibacteriales del paquete (fi g. 11). Colóquelos en un tazón y enjuague con agua limpia y fresca. Puede tirar el agua a su jardín ya que el agua va a contener

minerales favorables a las plantas.3. Rellene su tazón con agua fresca y deje las piedras remojadas

por una noche para remover el polvo de las piedras y mejorar el sabor. Es mejor cambiar el agua 2 o 3 veces si es posible.

Preparar el Filtro Cartucho :4. Después de remover el empaque del filtro cartucho (fig. 8),

coloque el fi ltro cartucho bajo un caño de agua con agua de corriente lenta.

Este paso removerá el polvo excesivo de fi ltro cartucho. (Esto deberá tomar menos de 1 minuto).

5. Coloque el filtro cartucho en el tazón con las piedras por la noche para remojarse. Este paso removerá las partículas de aire en el fi ltro cartucho por lo cual, si no son retirados desde el fi ltro cartucho, puede impedir buen fl ujo de agua.

6. Asegure que la parte superior esté bajo el nivel del agua.7. Puede dar unas palmaditas en los lados del fi ltro cartucho para

remover las partículas de aire.8. Coloque la arandela de silicio (fi g. 7) en la parte de la rosca del

fi ltro cartucho para asegurar un sello perfecto cuando instale el fi ltro cartucho con la placa plástica (fi g. 6).

Armar el purifi cador :Es recomendable que comience a armar desde la base inferior hacia arriba. 1. Comience con el tanque inferior. 2. Separe el grifo de agua. Va a tener 2 partes con arandelas. La arandela será instalada en el exterior del tanque y la otra

arandela será instalada en el interior del tanque con la sección magnética. Sitúe la otra arandela a dentro del tanque justo detrás del grifo. Sitúe la arandela a fuera del tanque con el grifo.

Al unir las dos partes, aplique con fuerza apropiada. Si usa mucha fuerza, puede dañar las partes y el agua se goteará. 3. Coloque las piedras remojadas dentro del tanque inferior. 4. Coloque la tapa de tanque de agua (fi g. 9) encima del tanque inferior. 5. Enrosque el fi ltro cartucho en la placa plástica (fi g.6) y coloque

en la tapa. (El fi ltro cartucho estará suspendido en el tanque inferior) 6. Coloque la arandela de silicio (fig. 3) en el tronco del filtro

cerámico (fi g. 2) y inserte por el hoyo en el tanque superior. Asegure con la tuerca con una fuerza apropiada. 7. Ubíquese su purifi cador en el lugar donde va a operar. (sobre la mesa, la tabla, etc). 8. Coloque el tanque superior encima de la placa plástica. 9. Llene el tanque superior con agua y colóquese la tapa.10. Su sistema está listo para operación.

Preparar otras partesEnjuague otras partes del purificador con agua tibia y séquelos. No use ningún tipo de detergentes en este paso. El filtro cerámico puede ser limpiado con un paño suave y agua del caño.

Points to remember :The water fl ow rate is about 2 litres per hour but bear in mind the fi rst few “fi lls” will be slower as the fi lters are settling in.

Initial Strong Mineral Taste :The Mineral & Antibacterial Stones will take several days to settle down and reach the amazing clean fresh taste.If the stones are pre-soaked properly before use, the taste will improve more quickly.If you like the taste it is good for you, otherwise put it on the garden.It is recommended to discard the first 1 or 2 lots of water that come through the bottom tank until the taste is to your liking.

Filter Life :The Lifetime of each component may vary, depending on local water quality.

Cleaning :Do not use any detergents to clean fi lters.It is advisable to keep the ceramic fi lter clean so as to maintain the water low rate.If the ceramic fi lter is discoloured the water cannot pass through.When the ceramic fi lter starts to become discoloured, please clean with a soft cloth and some fresh lemon juice or bi-carb soda in water.Please do not scrub as this will weaken the ceramic or can dislodge from the base.It is advisable to clean the mineral and antibacterial stones on a regular basis by boiling the stones to avoid algae.Ensure the stones are completely cool before putting back in the tank.

Overfi lling :Do not overfi ll the bottom tank.Once the bottom tank is full, do not put any more water in the top tank as it is not a sealed unit and will overfl ow.

Annual Clean :When changing the stones it is advisable to clean out the bottom tank with warm water and a clean cloth.Some lemon juice can also be added to the water if preferred.Mineral & Antibacterial Stones can be placed in boiling water from time to time to re-invigorate them but must be cooled in cold water before replacing back in the bottom tank.

Safety of plastics :SAQUA Water Purifi ers are manufactured from BPA Free plastics. There is no leaching of any harmful carcinogens or endocrine disrupters which make them perfectly safe at all times.

Atención :El fl ujo de agua es 2 litros por hora aproximadamente, pero tenga en mente que las primeras fi ltraciones toman más tiempo ya que el fi ltro necesita ajustar al agua.

Fuerte Sabor de Mineral en el Inicio :Tomará unos días para que las piedras minerales y piedras antibacteriales ajusten al agua y ofrecer gran sabor de agua fresca y limpia.Si las piedras fueron remojadas apropiadamente antes del uso, el sabor mejorará más rápido.Si el sabor inicial no está a su gusto, puede regar su jardín con el agua. Es recomendable desechar primeras 1 o 2 colecciones de agua hasta que el sabor esté as su gusto.

Duración de los Filtros :La duración de los fi ltros puede ser variados dependiendo en la calidad de agua en su localidad.

Limpieza :No usar ningún tipo de detergentes para lavar los fi ltros.Es sugerible que mantenga el filtro cerámico limpio para que el agua fl uya lentamente y sea bien fi ltrado.Si el fi ltro cerámico es descolorado, el agua no puede fl uir.Si el fi ltro cerámico comienza a descolorar, por favor limpie con un paño suave con un poco de jugo de limón fresco o bicarbonato de sodio en agua.Por favor, no friegue los fi ltros ya que hará daño a la cerámica o desalojará desde la base.Es sugerible que mantenga las piedras (minerales e antibacteriales) limpias por hervir las piedras y evitar musgo.(Recomendación : cada mes)Asegúrese de que las piedras estén frías antes de colocarlos de nuevo en el tanque.

Sobrellenado :No sobrellene el tanque inferiorUna vez que el tanque inferior este lleno, no agregue mas agua en el tanque superior. Las partes del purifi cador no están selladas y el agua se derramará.

Limpieza anual :Cuando reemplace las piedras, es sugerible que también limpie el tanque inferior con agua tibia y paño limpio.Puede agregar un poco de jugo de limón al agua si prefi ere.Las piedras (minerales y antibacteriales) pueden ser hervidos de tiempo a tiempo, pero es importante esperar hasta que se enfríen para colocarlos en el tanque.
