Story The Canteen Order System will help to optimize the daily workflow in company that runs a canteen.

The employees can order their dishes for the next day. This way the cook knows exactly the amount

of ingredients he needs for preparing the meal on a daily basis. And he is able to buy fresh

ingredients because he knows the exact quantity he will need on a given day. A further advantage is

the fact that he doesn’t waste food. This lowers the costs and the canteen manager can make a good

price for the meals.

The guests of the canteen will have a convenient lunchtime. They know that they will get their

ordered lunch, even if they are late and they like that everything is prepared fresh.

The system can be used in every company that offers a canteen for their employees. The app can

also be useful for caterers who serve many companies or need meals on several sites.

The system consists of apps for the use cases order lunch, create shopping list and canteen

management and controlling.

When Hans starts the OrderLunch App the master view shows a sequential list of days with a short

information about the lunch orders he has placed. In the detail there is the lunch menu separated in

the sections soup, main dish and desert along with the rating, price and order information.

The order checkbox is enabled for dates that are in the future. The rating stars are enabled only for

ordered positions in the past.

The user can order the chosen dishes with the “Order” Button or cancel an order with the “Cancel”

Button. The payment is automatically taken from the users canteen account.
