From the East Gree0ngs My Brothers! November is here...a 0me for giving thanks for all that we hold dear. Happy Thanksgiving! It is also a 0me to celebrate, thank our Vet- erans, and a 0me to vote on our future Lodge leadership. Your vote ma>ers! Please a>end the November Stated Mee0ng and make your voice heard in the decisions that will help shape the future of our Lodge. November will be my final Stated Mee0ng. I would like to thank all of you for your support this year. So much has happened and without the Brothers and Sisters in this Lodge, I would not have been able to make it through. It is the camaraderie and family of our Fraternity that makes this all worth it. Thank you! Thanks to everyone who a>ended, donated, and supported the Lodge during our October Dessert and CraA Auc0on. Your generosity truly showed. A GREAT meal was served by Worshipful Peter Krickhuhn and his lovely wife Connie. Worshipful Wayne Rhea served as an excellent auc0oneer with help from Broth- er Phil Pel0er (and yours truly). We raised $2,600 and had such a good 0me! Those of you who brought friends, please accept my personal thanks to your guests for their support. We once again passed out candy on Halloween. This is so much fun, seeing all of the kids (both big and li>le) in costume. Brother Mike Reher put on a fantas0c puppet show that held everyone spellbound! Congratula0ons to Worshipful Wayne Rhea for being our 2016 Hiram Award selectee. This is the single highest honor that a California Mason can receive. This award is given for a life0me of service to the CraA. Worshipful Wayne ex- emplifies this. He is always willing to give of his 0me and skills. He has worked 0relessly on the Lodge, building the new kitchen, and helping create the new Lodge Room. In 2016, he stepped back in line as Junior Warden. He a>ends every func0on and is oAen at the Lodge helping out. I cannot think of a more deserving Brother. Congratula0ons to our newest Entered Appren0ces, Brother Mike Looney and Brothers David and Chase Murray (father and son, who are the son-in-law and grandson of our Past Master, Worshipful Harry Butler). The Officers put on ex- cellent Degrees for all. What a couple of great nights. Thank you very much for sending me to the Annual Communica0on. A full re- port will follow in the December Trestleboard. I would like to thank Worshipful Mike Sherman for his 0me as our District In- spector. It is a demanding job and I truly appreciate all you have done for us. I would also like to welcome back Worshipful Tom Handel as our new District In- spector. He has a lot of work ahead of him, but with support of the Lodge Offic- ers, I am sure he will do an admirable job. On November 5 th , we will be having a co-ed Bunco and Pot Luck, hosted by Vicki Ruch and Brenda Weldon. Watch your emails for more informa0on! November2016

FromtheWest Hard to believe that it is already November. It is nearly Thanksgiving—a 0me to be thankful for all that we have. We returned from the Grand Lodge safe and sound. We also had a blast on Halloween giving candy to li>le ones and seeing the cool costumes! Brother Dayce is back home from his back surgery. Bother Wayne had knee surgery and is doing great. Connie Krick-huhn is preparing for back surgery. Brother Keith is prepar-ing for foot surgery. Please keep everyone in your prayers! Please contact me if you know of a brother or an honored lady in distress, who is ill, or is in need, please contact me so that we can help as many as we can. Fraternally, Brother Glen Jarvis Senior Warden

November, the month of great food, family, friends, giving thanks, and remembering to help those in need. It is also the month we elect the officers for the coming year. Please a>end the November stated mee0ng to par0cipate in this 0me-honored tradi0on.

We hope you all enjoyed Worshipful Peter and Connie Krickhuhn’s Octoberfest meal. I know I did! Thank you Peter and Connie for a job well done. The Stated Mee0ng dinner for November will be turkey and all of the fixin’s. See you there!

Brotherhood - Bey Langenberg -

Brother, is there something between you and me?

The east is glowing in a golden candlelight,

we listen to Mozart, and think in different languages,

Yet, I understand you, as you understand me.

Brother, is there something between you and me?

I don’t know your place in your society,

I do not know to which God you daily pray,

There must be thousands things that separates you and I.

Brother, is there something between you and me?

You make the sign and know the word.

I know you now,

although you live under a different sky;

You are my brother, seated next to me.

Brother is there something between you and me?

Between us, in the chain, the secret lives.

I heard your heart, as you heard mine,

and from countless miles, we recognize.
