• Over 60 people attended in spite of the lack of facilities.
• The courts are being well used by people of all ages.
• There is a schedule posted for pickleball and basketball times, but when not in use either sport can be played.
• This facility is providing exercise and fun for the whole community.
• There are no user fees and no need to sign up.
• There are racquets and balls provided in the storage box on the court.

Methods for Communication
Communications
For SSCA information: log onto the Website (ssca.info); read the e-Newsletter; use our Facebook page (SSCA Georgian Bay).
Ssca.info• Was re-designed this past winter with Junction 59• Purpose: a site where members can access all SSCA information.• Like the previous website, it has an events calendar, news items, event information and an option for
on-line Dues payment.• New features include advertising, a password-protected Member Directory that can be updated by
the member and a printable Phone Book.
Newsletter• Purpose: to keep members informed without overloading them with numerous emails.• Sent out weekly during the summer season (three times during the off-season).• Highlights upcoming SSCA events and local news and links them to ssca.info• Shares articles from the GB-5 on regional news.
Facebook Page (SSCA Georgian Bay)• A closed group page for SSCA members only.• Purpose: a forum for members to use to buy/sell items and share news.
42Sans Souci and Copperhead Association AGM – July 27, 2019
Methods for Communication
The SSCA Yearbook is no longer being produced. Instead, all the information that was included in the Yearbook is now available to members on the website.
The reasons for this change are:• Going paperless is more environmentally responsible.
(Most of the other cottage associations have gone/are going this way.)
• It is a less costly way to deliver SSCA news.
• The website is easy to update so contributors can keep information current.
