and around the Fairfax and SciTech (Prince William Co.) Campuses.

Our most important concern is your safety! So that we may all

achieve this goal, please observe the following guidelines when boarding

and riding a shuttle:Arrive a couple of minutes early

for quick and safe boarding.Only attempt to board your

shuttle at the designated stop.Never chase a moving vehicle. Remain seated while onboard

a shuttle.Some shuttle routes may drop-off passengers, then layover until their scheduled departure

The new Sandy Creek - Vienna Metro shuttle (Formerly Metro to Mason) operates to the Vienna Metro sta-tion and runs with buses every 15 to 30 minutes from 6am to 11:30pm, Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday service begins at 8am with weekend stops at the Mason Townhouses on Chain Bridge Road and by Fairfax Circle on Lee Highway. The buses will now leave from the NEW Sandy Creek Transit Center Bay A and Rappahannock River Lane (Shelter #1) every 15 minutes during the morning and after-noon peak (rush hours). During non-rush hour they

operate every 30 minutes.

Metro it’s difficult to print all the times. So after 9:45am it is important to note, that we STILL RUN SERVICE EVERY 30 MINUTES! For exam-

ple on this timetable you see 9:45am. The next Shuttle will leave at 10:00am, then 10:30am, 11:00am, 11:30am and so on until 3:30pm, when you start seeing printed times again!

Our SciTech Campus is easy to connect with, riding on the HOV lanes, while acessing our WiFi enabled shuttles. With service Monday-Friday between 6:25am-11:10pm and departures every half hour for the majority of the day. Service is every hour on Fridays. Weekend service every two hours is also available for the Fairfax-SciTech shuttle. A Mason ID card is required to board the shuttle from the Manassas Mall stop (Our bus stops between entrances #3

and #4 at the mall).

The Gunston’s Go-Bus provides service between the RAC, Sandy Creek Transit Center, Fair Lakes, Fair Oaks Mall, Fairfax Corner, Ridge Top Road, and University Mall. The Fairfax Connector 605 Route travels between Reston Town Centre and Fair Oaks Mall, the Mason Route on Gunston’s Go-Bus was adjusted to allow for easy transfer from the bus to our bus. We have added two new trips in the afternoon on the George Route at

3:30pm and 5:00pm.

New Trips Starting Spring 2017

Gunston’s Go-Bus will provide free transportation to anyone with a Mason ID. While we have been very le-nient in allowing passage on all of our other shuttles to anyone claiming to have misplaced their ID, we must insist on showing Mason ID to ride this bus due to insurance regulations and property agreements.

The shuttle runs seven days a week with late-night service on Friday and Saturday nights.

The Fairfax Connector 605 Route travels between Reston Town Center and Fair Oaks Mall. The Mason Route is timed to allow for the transfer from Fairfax Connector 605 to the Mason shuttle.

The bus stop at University Mall is on the back side of the mall next to the steps beside the movie theaters.

The bus stop at Fairfax Corner is across the street from the movie theatres on Palace Way.

The bus stop at Fair Oaks Mall is on the northwest side of the mall, between Sears and Lord & Taylor.

The bus stop at Fair Lakes is on the outer ring road between Best Buy and BJ’s gas station.

The bus stop at Ridge Top Road stops near the intersection of Ridge Top Road and Cavalier Landing CT (half a block north of Lee Highway), Ridgewood Apartments is located across the street.

Several stops for the shuttle do not have timed stops (marked by ”—” on the schedule) but the shuttles still drive by these stops as part of their normal routine.

If you want to catch the shuttle at one of the untimed stops, just be at the stop at the pickup time of the stop before yours! The driver will see you and stop to pick you up.

The Burke Centre VRE Express shuttle provides a con-nection between the VRE and Fairfax Campus. Free parking is located at the Burke Centre VRE garage and may be used as a park & ride lot. Also, many stu-dents and employees that live in the Burke area can walk or ride a bike to catch the shuttle. Plus, we are now picking up and dropping off on the return trip to campus from Burke Centre VRE at Target, and three new stops along Zion Drive. In addition, we have

extended morning and evening hours.
