THE  H WL  Jog-‐‑a-‐‑thon  is  a  Runaway  Success  

A  HUGE  thank  you  to  everyone  who  participated  in  the  Jog-‐‑a-‐‑

thon.  Thanks  to  your  support  we  were  able  to  earn  $3,461  for  our  school.  A  special  congratulations  and  thank  you  to  Caleb  Andrus  who  raised  the  most  money  and  earned  himself  $100  as  a  reward.  Javier  Lujan  took  second  place  by  raising  the  most  money  and  earned  a  $75  reward  and  Ryan  Robb  took  third  and  received  $50  for  raising  funds.  The  funds  will  go  toward  our  athletics  program,  student  awards,  and  physical  education  equipment  and  have  already  helped  the  PE  program  purchase  a  class  set  of  jump  ropes,  dumbbells,  and  Hula  Hoops.  Students  ran  a  total  of  813  miles  and  Nick  McDonald  completed  the  most  laps  by  a  boy  (15)  and  Samyrah  Mora-‐‑Gillette  and  Rachael  Dieckmann  tied  for  first  for  the  most  laps  run  by  a  girl  (12).

Sam  Brannan  Gets  into  the  Spirit  with  Spirit  Week    

Starbucks Gift Card Winner!  Congratulations  to  Emily  Perry  for  winning  the  “Best  Selfie”  contest.  Emily  received  a  gift  card  to  Starbucks  for  her  awesome  selfie.  Thank  you  to  everyone  who  entered.  

The  students  of  Sam  Brannan  had  fun  playing  dress-‐‑up  during  Spirit  Week.  On  Monday  it  was  Crazy  Hair  and  Socks  Day,  Tuesday  was  Twin  Day,  Wednesday  Superhero  Day,  Thursday  College  Day,  and  Friday  was  Costume  Day.
