 From the Statutory Manager:

Since the Parent Meeting earlier this year I have been workingclosely with the Board of Trustees on a wide range of issuesthat, we hope, will contribute to ensuring that the school'sgovernance and management structure will be strengthened.

The Senior Leadership Team (previously referred to as theSenior Management Team) structure has been reviewed and

now consists of the Principal, Deputy Principal, AssistantPrincipal and two Team Leaders - one with specificresponsibility for Maths and the other Literacy. The overallobjective is to streamline 'upward and downward'communications and to provide more management resource.

The 2013 Principal appraisal is well advanced and is beingmanaged by an external provider. Shortly, the draft Principal'sPerformance Agreement will be available and that will includeagreed objectives and preliminary appraisal feedback etc.

The Principal, Board of Trustees and I are continuing to keepclosely in touch with staff and we are taking genuine note of

their suggestions and comments as to future direction. In thisregard the Board of Trustees recently conducted a staff surveyand, in addition, staff have been surveyed as part of thePrincipal's appraisal.

Finally, the recently elected Board of Trustees has an excellentbalance of previous experience and 'new faces.' There can beno doubt that parents can have full confidence that, over thenext three years, the school will be very well served by an ableBoard of Trustees.
