Election 2016
“El Señor de los Milagros”
...is an image from a mural depicting the suffering of the crucified Christ, painted by an African slave in the 17th century. The original mural was painted on the wall of a hermitage, in Lima, Peru. The painting is known to have miraculously survived a number of earthquakes and even misguided human attempts to destroy it.
The image of the “Lord of the Miracles” is a powerful reminder that God has not abandoned us and that our Lord is ever with us even in the midst of chaos and calamity.
All are invited to join our Peruvian parishioners in celebrating this feast on October 30th at the 1:00 PM Mass. Procession and Fiesta to follow.

Meditemos.
