Prayer for the Sick: Merciful Father, giver of life and health, we turn to you with confidence asking you to bless our sick relatives and friends. May they be restored to health of mind and body through your kindness so as to be able to turn to you with gratitude and live. Amen

As the 2016 general election is quickly approaching, I am writing to share a reminder about guidelines for political activities in parish communities and to provide an approved voter information resource website.

Election 2016

“El Señor de los Milagros”

...is an image from a mural depicting the suffering of the crucified Christ, painted by an African slave in the 17th century. The original mural was painted on the wall of a hermitage, in Lima, Peru. The painting is known to have miraculously survived a number of earthquakes and even misguided human attempts to destroy it.

The image of the “Lord of the Miracles” is a powerful reminder that God has not abandoned us and that our Lord is ever with us even in the midst of chaos and calamity.

All are invited to join our Peruvian parishioners in celebrating this feast on October 30th at the 1:00 PM Mass. Procession and Fiesta to follow.

Meditemos.
