„Tak więc w obliczu chwały Trójcy Świętej, widocznej w stworzeniu, człowiek powinien oddać się kontemplacji, śpiewać i odnaleźć zdolność zachwytu. W dzisiejszym społeczeństwie człowiek staje się oschły «nie dlatego, że brakuje rzeczy budzących zachwyt, lecz z braku zachwytu» (G. K. Chesterton). Dla człowieka wierzącego kontemplacja stworzenia to również wsłuchiwanie się w treść posłania, słuchanie jego tajemniczego i niesłyszalnego głosu, jak mówi «Psalm słońca»: «Niebiosa głoszą chwałę Boga, dzieło rąk Jego nieboskłon obwieszcza. Dzień dniowi głosi opowieść, a noc nocy przekazuje wiadomość. Nie jest to słowo, nie są to mowy, których by dźwięku nie usłyszano; ich głos się rozchodzi na całą ziemię i aż po krańce świata ich mowy» (Ps 19 [18], 2-5).” - Jan Paweł II Audiencja Generalna. 26 stycznia 2000.

To co uderza nas w doskonałości Trójcy Świętej to wzajemna miłość, świętość, ta sama wola. Pragniemy nie tylko kontemplować te wspaniałe atrybuty Trójcy Świętej, ale również wcielać je do swego życia w rodzinie, wśród znajomych. Wpierw jednak chcemy, aby te cechy były częścią nas samych, co wynika z naszego włączenia w życie Trójcy Świętej przez modlitwę i wypełnianie przykazań. „Jeśli Mnie kto miłuje, będzie zachowywał moją naukę, a Ojciec mój umiłuje go, i przyjdziemy do niego, i będziemy u niego przebywać.” (J 14, 23)

Wzajemna miłość polega przede wszystkim na relacji, która nas czyni lepszymi, gotowymi na dzieleniu się dobrem. To prowadzi do świętości, czyli do oddaniu się Bogu w tym, co człowieka stanowi, łącznie z jego pracą, zainteresowaniami, a przede wszystkim sercem. „Serce jest zdradliwsze niż wszystko inne i niepoprawne - któż je zgłębi? Ja, Pan, badam serce i doświadczam nerki, bym mógł każdemu oddać stosownie do jego postępowania, według owoców jego uczynków.” (Jr 17,9-10) „Gdzie bowiem jest twój skarb, tam będzie i serce twoje.” (Mt 6, 21)

Bóg w Trójcy wylał swoją miłość na stworzenie, czyli na kazdego z nas i ta miłość jest zapisana w naszych sercach, potrzeba nam odkryć ją na nowo i uczynić swoim skarbem, mieć chęć, a reszta przyjdzie sama.

Poddanie swojej woli Bogu to równiez czynnik, który dzieje się w nszym sercu, aby nie uznawać Boga za złodzieja radości życia, wolności. To właśnie On chce nas wolnych, abyśmy kochali Go i właczali się w Jego życie jako ludzie wolni. Pamiętamy także słowa św. Pawła – „Ku wolności nas wyswobodził Chrystus.” (Ga 5, 1)

Uroczystość Trójcy Przenajświętszej jest wielkim zaproszeniem do symbiozy miłości z Bogiem. Starajmy się odpowiedzieć ze szczodrym sercem.

capacity to be amazed. In today's society, man becomes dry "not because there is a lack of things that arouse admiration, but lack of admiration" (G. K. Chesterton). For a believer, the contemplation of creation is also listening to the content of the message, listening to its mysterious and inaudible voice, as the "sun Psalm" says: "The heavens proclaim the glory of God, the work of the hands of His heaven proclaims. The day tells the tale, and the night of the night transmits the message. It is not a word, it is not a speech that the sound would not be heard; their voice spreads to the whole earth and to the ends of the world of their speech” (Ps 19 [18], 2-5). - John Paul II. General Audience. January 26, 2000.

What strikes us in the perfection of the Holy Trinity is mutual love, holiness, the same Will. We want not only to contemplate these wonderful attributes of the Holy Trinity but also to incorporate them into our lives, within our families and among friends. First, however, we want these qualities to be part of ourselves, which results from our inclusion of the Holy Trinity in our lives through prayer and the fulfillment of the Commandments: “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him and we will come to him and we will be with him" (Jn 14:23).

Mutual love is first of all a relationship that makes us better, ready for sharing goodness. This leads to holiness; that is, devotion to God in what man represents—including his work, interests and, above all, his heart: "The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it? “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways according to the fruit of his deeds” (Jr 17, 9-10). “Where your treasure is, your heart will be there "(Mt 6, 21).

God in the Trinity poured out his love for creation—that is each of us and this love is recorded in our hearts. We need to rediscover it and make it our treasure, have a desire for it, and the rest will come by itself. Subjecting yourself to God’s Will is also something that occurs in your heart, not that God should be seen as a thief, but we should experience the joy of life with Him in freedom. It is He that wants us free, that we love Him and freely take part in His life. We also remember the words of Saint John Paul II: "Christ has set us free for freedom" (Gal 5: 1).

The solemnity of the Holy Trinity is a great invitation to experience the symbiotic love we share with God. Let us try to answer with a generous heart.

THE MOST HOLY TRINITY SUNDAY

The first Sunday after Pentecost is the Festival of the Holy Trinity. On this day, the church rejoices in the impenetrable mystery that God is triune (three-in-one) -- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. How the Lord can be one God in three distinct persons is completely beyond the ability of any human to understand. By the power of the Holy Spirit, Christians accept this incomprehensible mystery as a fundamental article of faith.

TRÓJCA PRZENAJŚWIĘTSZA

Formuła o Trójcy została zatwierdzona w 325 roku podczas soboru nicejskiego. Zgodnie z nicejskim wyznaniem wiarytrójosobowy, trójjedyny Bóg objawia się człowiekowi jako Ojciec, Syn Boży i Duch Święty, jednak każda z tych osób jest tym samym, jednym Bogiem. Bóg jest wszechmocny, wieczny i nieskończony. Poszczególne Osoby są tożsame co do natury i substancji (są jednym i tym samym Bogiem), ale są oddzielnymi osobami, różniącymi się pochodzeniem i wzajemnymi relacjami. Bóg Ojciec nie pochodzi od nikogo, Syn Boży został zrodzony przez Ojca (a nie stworzony), Duch Święty pochodzi od Ojca i Syna.

BOŻE CIAŁO Inicjatorką ustanowienia święta Bożego Ciała była św. Julianna z Cornillon (1192-1258). Kiedy była przeoryszą klasztoru augustianek w Mont Cornillon w pobliżu Liege, w roku 1245 została zaszczycona objawieniami, w których Chrystus

żądał ustanowienia osobnego święta ku czci Najświętszej Eucharystii.

Pan Jezus wyznaczył sobie nawet dzień uroczystości Bożego Ciała - czwartek po niedzieli Świętej Trójcy. Biskup Liege, Robert, po naradzie ze swoją kapitułą i po pilnym zbadaniu objawień, postanowił wypełnić życzenie Pana Jezusa.

W roku 1246 odbyła się pierwsza procesja eucharystyczna. Jednak w tym samym roku biskup Robert zmarł. Wyższe duchowieństwo miasta, za namową teologów, uznało krok zmarłego ordynariusza za przedwczesny, a wprowadzenie święta pod taką nazwą za wysoce niewłaściwe. Co więcej, omalże nie oskarżono św. Julianny o herezję. Karnie została przeniesiona z klasztoru w Mont Cornillon na prowincję (1247 r.). Po interwencji archidiakona katedry w Liege, Jakuba, kardynał Hugo zlecił ponowne zbadanie sprawy i zatwierdził święto. W roku 1251 po raz drugi archidiakon Jakub poprowadził ulicami Liege procesję eucharystyczną. Pan Jezus hojnie wynagrodził za to gorliwego kapłana. Ten syn szewca z Troyes (Szampania) został wkrótce biskupem w Verdun, patriarchą Jerozolimy i ostatecznie papieżem (1261-1264). Panował jako Urban IV. On też w roku 1264 wprowadził w Rzymie uroczystość Bożego Ciała.

MOST HOLY TRINITY

30 + On one occasion I was reflecting on the Holy Trinity, on the essence of God. I absolutely wanted to know and fathom who God is. In an instant my spirit was caught up into what seemed to be the next world. I saw an inaccessible light, and in this light what appeared like three sources of light which I could not understand. And out of that light came words in the form of lightning which encircled heaven and earth… Suddenly, from this sea of inaccessible light came our dearly beloved Savior, unutterably beautiful with His shining Wounds. And from this light came a voice which said, Who God is in His Essence, no one will fathom, neither the mind of Angels nor or man. Jesus said to me; get to know God by contemplating His attributes. A moment later, He traced the sign of the cross with his hand and vanished.

472+ I knew, more distinctly, than ever before, the Three Divine Persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. But their being, their equality, and their majesty are one. My soul is in communion with these Three; but I do not know how to express this in words; yet, my soul understands it well. Whoever is united to One of the Three Persons is thereby united to the whole Blessed Trinity, for this Oneness is indivisible. This vision, or rather, this knowledge filled my soul with unimaginable happiness, because God is so great.

911 + On one occasion, God’s presence pervaded my whole being, and my mind was mysteriously enlightened in respect to His Essence. He allowed me to understand His interior life. In spirit, I saw the Three Divine Persons, but Their Essence was One. He is One, and One only, but in Three Persons; none of Them is either greater or smaller; there is no difference in either beauty or sanctity, for They are One. They are absolutely One. His Love transported me into this knowledge and united me with Himself. When I was united to One, I was equally united to the Second and to the Third in such a way that when we are united with One, by that very fact, we are equally united to the two Persons in the same way as with the One. Their will is One, one God, though in Three Persons. When One of the Three Persons communicates with a soul, by the power of that one will, it finds itself united with the Three Persons and is inundated in the happiness flowing from the Most Holy Trinity, the same happiness that nourishes the saints. This same happiness that streams from the Most Holy Trinity makes all creation happy; from it springs that life which vivifies and bestows all life which takes its beginning from Him. In these moments, my soul experienced such great divine delights that I find this difficult to express.

SIOSTRA FAUSTYNA O TRÓJCY

PRZENAJŚWIETSZEJ 30 W pewnej chwili zastanawiałam się o Trójcy Świętej, o istocie Bożej. Koniecznie chciałam zgłębić i poznać, kto jest ten Bóg... W jednej chwili duch mój został porwany jakoby w zaświaty, ujrzałam jasność nieprzystępną, a w niej jakoby trzy źródła jasności, której pojąć nie mogłam. A z tej jasności wychodziły słowa w postaci gromu i okrążały niebo i ziemię… Wtem z morza jasności nieprzystępnej wyszedł nasz ukochany Zbawiciel w piękności niepojętej, z ranami jaśniejącymi. A z onej jasności było słychać głos taki: Jakim jest Bóg w istocie swojej, nikt nie zgłębi, ani umysł anielski, ani ludzki. Jezus mi powiedział: Poznawaj Boga przez rozważanie przymiotów Jego. Po chwili Jezus zakreślił ręką znak krzyża i znikł.

472 Wtem duch mój został zjednoczony z Bogiem, w jednej chwili ujrzałam wielkość i świętość Boga niepojętą, a zarazem poznałam nicość, jaką jestem sama z siebie. Poznałam, wyraźniej niżeli kiedy indziej, Trzy Boskie Osoby: Ojca, Syna i Ducha Świętego.Jednak istność ich jest jedna i równość, i majestat. Dusza moja obcuje [z] tymi Trzema, lecz słowami nie umiem tego wyrazić, ale dusza rozumie to dobrze. Ktokolwiek jest złączony z jedną z tych Trzech Osób, przez to samo jest złączony z całą Trójcą Świętą, ponieważ Ich jedność jest nierozdzielna. To widzenie, czyli poznanie, zalało duszę moją szczęściem niepojętym, dlatego że Bóg jest tak wielkim…

911 W pewnym momencie obecność Boża przeniknęła moją całą istotę, umysł mój został dziwnie oświecony w poznaniu Jego Istoty; przypuścił mnie [Bóg] do poznania swego życia wewnętrznego. Widziałam w duchu Trzy Osoby Boskie, ale jedna Ich Istota. On jest sam, jeden, jedyny, ale w trzech Osobach, ani mniejsza, ani większa jedna z Nich, ani w piękności, ani w świętości nie ma różnicy, bo jedno są. Jedno, absolutnie jedno są. Miłość Jego przeniosła mnie w to poznanie i złączyła mnie ze sobą. Kiedy byłam złączona z jedną [Osobą Boską], to także byłam złączona z drugą i trzecią [Osobą Boską], tak że, jak się łączymy z jedną, przez to samo łączymy się z tymi dwiema Osobami — tak samo jak z jedną. Jedna ich jest wola, jeden Bóg, chociaż w Osobach Troisty. Kiedy się duszy udziela jedna z trzech Osób, to mocą tej jednej woli jest złączona z trzema Osobami i jest zalana szczęściem, które spływa z Trójcy Przenajświętszej; tym szczęściem karmią się święci. Szczęście, jakie tryska z Trójcy Przenajświętszej, uszczęśliwia wszystko, co jest stworzone; tryska życie, które ożywia i daje wszelkie życie, które z Niego bierze początek. W tych chwilach dusza moja doznała tak wielkich rozkoszy Bożych, które trudno mi wyrazić.

THE MOST HOLY TRINITY

Since the 16th century Catholic piety has assigned entire months to

special devotions. The month of June is set apart for devotion to the

Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Litany to the Sacred Heart of Jesus will be recited

on Sundays and Fridays, after Masses.

In 1899 Pope Leo XIII approved this Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus for public use. This litany is actually a synthesis of several other litanies dating back to the 17th century. Father Croiset composed a litany in 1691 from which 17 invocations were used by Venerable Anne Madeleine Remuzat when she composed her litany in 1718 at Marseille. She joined an additional 10 invocations to those of Father Croiset, for a total of 27 invocations. Six more invocations written by Sister Madeleine Joly of Dijon in 1686 were added by the Sacred Congregation for Rites when it was approved for public use in 1899. This makes a total of 33 invocations, one for each year of life of our Lord Jesus Christ. A partial indulgence is attached to this litany.

JezusowegoJezusowegoJezusowegoJezusowego W tradycji Kościoła za początek kultu Serca Bożego uważa się moment przebicia Bożego Serca na krzyżu. Nabożeństwo czerwcowe składa się z dwóch podstawowych elementów: adoracji Najświętszego Sakramentu oraz Litanii do Najświętszego Serca Pana Jezusa. Historia powstania tej Litanii jest dosyć ciekawa. Gdy w XVIII wieku w Marsylii wybuchła zaraza, jedna z zakonnic ułożyła ją, aby wybłagać ratunek dla miasta. Po pewnym czasie zaraza ustąpiła. Początkowo modlitwa ta składała się z 26 wezwań, później dodano do niej jeszcze 7, dzięki czemu Litania licząca 33 prośby upamiętnia symboliczną liczbę lat życia Jezusa na ziemi.

Litania do NSPJ będzie śpiewana w niedzielę i piątki po Mszy świętej.

Plans are underway for the new altar at our shrine. The Shrine has been blessed by the financial support from many donors. An amount of $60,000 has been raised to cover the cost of the altar. We also received a donation to cover the cost of the two images on either side of the altar. Currently the altar is being constructed in Poland and it will be sent here by ship. There’s also an HVAC system in our plans to make the upper church more comfortable and also to fight with moisture in the upper church. We are also thinking about an elevator/lift to make our upper church available for everyone where the main altar with all the relics will be installed. We want it to be available for everyone so the next step is to make handicap bathrooms accessible. In the meantime, there is work to be done in preparation for the new altar. The masonry outside the church has been repaired as well as several small roof leaks. New gutters have been installed on the rectory. The inside walls behind the altar have been sealed and painted. The presbytery will have to be painted before the altar is installed. These repairs and renovations are costly and we need to raise funds for this purpose. You may also notice new insulated windows in the assembly room and the upper sacristy. These are a great improvement which will save on heating and cooling costs. There is also new fencing in front of the church. We are also in the process of looking to reopen our school building. This is a daunting task as the building needs major renovations. There are many men in the shrine community who have offered their time and skills to complete these projects. We would only have to pay for materials. In order to have heat and water in the school the pipes need to be repaired. The Archdiocese will cover this cost through insurance; however, we must have the asbestos covering the pipes removed. Asbestos removal is also necessary on the boiler and in the cafeteria. The second collections are presently held for this reason. I am grateful to those who, through spiritual and physical help, engage in the development of our church and school buildings. We wish to have the shrine attract many people who will find spiritual fulfillment and become disciples sharing the word of Christ to others.
