    Familiarize different safety suits and gadgetsbefore doing such activities.

    Overall of suitable size made of flame proof material.

    Safety shoes with steel toe-cap and steel support toprotect feet from falling objects, sharp edges, etc.

    Spats to protect the ankles from melted metal and splatter.

    Apron to protect the front of your body when welding orcutting.

    Arm and wrist protectors to protect your arms from heat,

    rays, etc. Welding gloves made from tanned leather.

    Welding screen, hand held type, to be fitted with weldingglasses, 60 x 110mm.

    NOTE :

    Never expose your naked eyes to the light of anelectric arc or a welding torch.

    Welding helmet to be fitted with weldingglasses 60 x 110mm.

    Welding glasses and protective glasses 60x 110mm for welding screens and weldinghelmets.

    Protective helmet, ear mufflers andwelding helmet with welding glasses.

    The adjustments are done by tighteningor loosening the special strap inside the

    helmet. Protective goggles of rigid and

    comfortable design.

    SURFACE WELDS

    Surface welds are welds were a materialhas been applied to the surface of anothermaterial.

    May or may not be blended with the workpiece.

    Two common applications are hardsurfacing and padding.

    GROOVE WELDS

    Groove welds are used to fuse the sidesor ends of two pieces of metals.

    The primary use of groove welds is tocomplete butt joints.
