Fatima Devotions Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children at Fatima in Portugal for six consecutive months from May to October. The appointed day was the 13th of each month. She again requested them to pray the Rosary each day.

Each evening of the 13th will consist of Mass, a Rosary Procession, and an opportunity for meditation. The night will conclude with a social gathering in the lower church hall. “Do not be afraid any longer, little flock, for your Father is pleased to give you the kingdom…… where your treasure is, there also will your heart be.” Given the statistics of weekly Mass attendance, it seems that, tragically, we are truly a “little flock”. Why do we overlook the gifts that God gives us at each Mass? Giving thanks to God with this faith
community at Mass should be a real priority. The question arises, then, do we really treasure the gift of faith and especially the sacraments of Eucharist and Reconciliation?
