0132 Sacred Heart Parish Sunday, February 3, 2019

Thank you to all who represented Sacred Heart Parish at the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C. on January 18th!

The Catholic Charities Appeal is the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s single most important annual fundraising initiative. Poverty, hunger and homelessness remain serious challenges in our community. We ask you to look deeply within your heart to help us reach our goal as we strive to bring the gift of hope to our brothers and sisters in need. Pledge forms and mailing envelopes are available in the narthex if you are interested in supporting the campaign. Visit www.catholiccharitiesappeal.org.

We greatly appreciate everyone participating in last weekend’s consultation vote. The results are 52% voted to keep the Saturday Vigil Mass at 5 p.m. With regard to Sunday Mass times, 42% preferred to gather at 8 a.m. / 10 a.m. / 12 noon. The 8 a.m. Mass will be considered the ‘quiet mass’ and will not have music. In light of the data, the number of parishioners worshiping each week and the number of priests, the new Mass Schedule will take effect the weekend of June 1 and June 2, 2019. In gratitude for your participation and support of the Sacred Heart Parish, Yours in Christ, Fr. Mike
