Coat Drive

Our Lady of Guadalupe

The Knights of Columbus would like to thank everybody who participated in the "Coats for Kids" program. We were able to collect 39 new coats and 65 used coats for kids this winter. A whopping total of 104 coats for kids.

On Wednesday, December 12th at 6:00 AM we will be celebrating Our Lady of Guadalupe with lauds, folkloric dancers, a rosary, and songs. Then at 6:30 PM there will be a bilingual Mass and a social gathering with food and fun for everyone. There will be NO FAITH FORMATION on this day.

Eucharistic Adoration Ministry

"Come, then, let us bow down and worship bending the knee before the Lord, our maker. For he is our God and we are his people, the flock he shepherds." Psalm 95

Currently there is need for one committed adorer for Friday 10:00-11:00 AM, Sat. 3:00-4:00 AM, and two committed adorers for Sat. 2:00-3:00 AM, and 6:00-7:00 AM. Contact: Cynthia Vanzzini at 560-6804.

We would like to form a children’s choir to pro-vide music for the 5:00 PM Christmas Eve Mass. Rehearsals will be every Sunday during Advent at 12:15 PM in the Holy Family Hall. Children of all ages are invited to come join us. For more infor-mation, contact Taryn Surratt or Colleen Hill.

Children’s Choir

We are proud to host Fr. Justin Braun for our Advent Parish Mission! He will preach at all the English Masses on the weekend of the 15th and 16th and will lead a mission starting at 6:30 PM on December 16th-18th (Sunday–Tuesday) in the church.

Advent Parish Mission

December 10- Christmas caroling & cookie social, 6:30-7:45PM: Meet at Willowbrook nursing home (227 Russell Blvd) to sing Christmas carols and passing out Christmas cards.

(This can count towards one hour of service.)

December 12- No SHOCK: Join the celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe starting with Mass at 6:30 then food and fun after

December 19- Christmas Party and Gift Exchange: Let's celebrate Jesus' birth with fun, games, and dinner together. Dinner will be in the gym after 6:30 Mass. Gift exchange- bring a $5-10 wrapped gift to be used in a fun white elephant exchange.

Completed service hour forms are due December 19 in order to participate in the Service Hour Par-ty on Friday, January 4. Time and place will be announced December 19 at the Christmas party.

Evie Bowers’ FULFILLED study group meets Satur-days at 2 PM at her home. Don McCarley’s FULFILLED study group meets after the 8:30 AM Mass in the conference room. Emily Smith’s women's group, using the Presence study from FORMED, meets in her home on Tues-day evenings every 2 weeks at 7:30 PM. Next meeting is December 11th. Jack Sullivan's evening men's group, using the Catholicism series by Bishop Barron, meets at the Hurlburt home on Tuesday evenings every 2 weeks. Next meeting is on December 18th. Jamie Poskey young adult group (under 35), using Symbolon, meets on Wednesdays at 7 PM. Neal Slaten’s morning men's group, studying the letters of St. Peter, meets Wednesdays at 6 AM in Holy Family Hall. Teams of Our Lady is a group of married couples that meet once a month to have dinner, pray, and do a book study. Quinceañeras
