School of Religion classes begin this Sunday, Sept 14th
after 9:30 am mass. All students are to report to the Religious
Education Bldg. Any child who has not yet registered, may
register on-site. The registration fee is $5.00 per child. If you
have questions, please contact the DRE, Mrs. Sheila Green,
at her office.

Raffle Tickets: Distribution for the 2014 Fall Festival will
continue this weekend at all masses. All registered families
are asked and expected to sell or purchase their assigned
ticket books. Extra books will be available, upon request, for
non- registered parishioners who attend St. Catherine. Ticket
returns may be dropped in the collection basket in the
envelope provided with stubs and payments or returned to the
parish office during business hours.
Fall Festival Meetings: Wednesday, Sept. 24th at 6pm in the
Youth Activity Center. All participating ministries are asked
to have a representative present.
Fall Festival T-shirt Order Forms: Please ask the ushers

Family Choices: Embracing Body, Mind, & Spirit in Dementia
Care: Presented by the Diocese of B.R., Saturday, Sept. 27, 2014, 9:30 am-3:30 pm. Please see the last page for details. St. Elizabeth Harvest Festival: Sunday, September 28th from 9 am–5 pm. The day will begin with a tour of St. Elizabeth Church at 9:30 am. The finest chefs on the bayou will gather to serve their secret family recipes for lunch at 11:00 am. There will be fun and games for the young and young at heart, from Lazer-tag & Face Painting to homemade items and a Video Bus. Gather the family and join us on the grounds of St. Elizabeth Church in Paincourtville, La. The Woman in You: The 2014 The Woman in You Health
and Wellness Seminar will be held Sat., Oct. 25th from 8:00
am-12:00 pm, St. Catherine’s Church Hall. We have worked
hard to put together an interesting and informative group of
women speakers. Seminar topics include: Healthy Hair is a
Choice ; Self-Advocacy: The Empowered Patient; Nutrition;
Music Therapy; How to Know the Difference Between
Physical and Spiritual Illness; Finance. This seminar is free
and open to the public; however, we do encourage
reservations due to limited seating. For reservations and

The Mercy Hands Crochet Ministry is still asking for
donations of yarn to complete this year’s project for the
young cancer patients at St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

join the Bishop for his Respect Life Mass, Sun., Oct. 12,

All those involved in Respect Life ministries, promoting
