Danny is a journeyman and has a story that is not uncommon in the college football spectrum of the US. Danny started his journey at DePaul Catholic High School were he was a standout; being posted to the top 100 players of his state as a junior. Looking to increase his chances at landing a scholarship at a great school and develop further as a player and student he chose to play one season at Loomis Chaffee Prep where he received First-Team All-New England Prep honors. Danny?s first go at college football went really well at San Bernardino Valley College. Danny started seven games and passed for 19 touchdowns and 1,500 yards as a freshmen, setting a single game record with 6 touchdown passes. This talent did not go unnoticed and Danny soon had an offer to go big time and be the quarterback at Rhode Island University. However, once he arrived there was a coaching staff change meaning his QB coach, recruiter, etc. were gone and looking to run a new system with new people. After appearing as a reserve against Brown (10/6) and making his first start at Rhode Island, completing 4-of-6 passes for 18 yards and rushing five times for a team-high 30 yards at Bowling Green (9/29) Farley decided to leave the program, hoping to find a better fit somewhere else.

After leaving Rhode Island, Farley bounced around 3 different colleges. He had promises broken by the coaching staff at East. LA Junior College. After starting and performing well in 6 games, Delaware Valley wanted him to switch to an option QB, and UW-Stout failed to maximize his potential. In the professional ranks Danny took a backup role in the National Arena League for one year with the Jacksonville Sharks. However in the first game that Danny saw time he scored on both possessions against the Corpus Christi Rage. We look forward to seeing Danny?s speed and accuracy win games for the Canes. Please welcome him to the family!
