S-TEAM is a Sports Management Company which wasestablished in 2004 to fill a gap in the Egyptian SportsMarket. Backed by the history of its founders as sportsmenwho reached international levels and their accumulatedexperience through direct involvement in management andadministration of various sports disciplines.

Through the diversity of its Scope of Works spanning overvarious fields of the Sport Business like, Sport FacilitiesConcept Development & Management, Sports AcademiesOperation, Kids Sports Events & Special Projects andSport Tourism, S-TEAM was able to build an integratednetwork of local, reginal and international contacts andbusiness partnerships with stakeholders in the variousfields of the Sport Business; which not only positioned thecompany as one of the leading Sport Services Providers,but also drived its founders to extend their reach beyondthe Egyptian Market.

Mission

THE FOUNDERS

Raouf Nour started his career in Sport at the Gezira Sporting Club (GSC); Egypt’s FirstSports Club established in 1882. Through the Swimming Team he soon became NationalJuniors & Seniors Champions & National Records Holder. He was a standing member ofGSC Water Polo Team which dominated the Water Polo Champions for sevenconsecutive years. He joined the Egyptian National Teams in both Swimming & WaterPolo, through which he represented Egypt in Top International Events.After retirement as a player, he joined several positions in both GSC & EgyptianSwimming Federation allowing him to have hands-on experience in various fields of SportAdministration and expanding his circle of key contacts with major stakeholders in theSport Industry

Started his professional career as a banker in the CommercialInternational Bank in Egypt (CIB). Accumulating experiencesand Connections for 22 years. He reached the position ofAssistant General Manager until he retired in 2007 to put allhis efforts and experience in S-TEAM Sport Management.

Sherif Amin started his career in Sport at the Gezira Sporting Club (GSC); Egypt’s FirstSports Club established in 1882. 1.Pre-development Services

The Scope of Services offered is broad and begins withfeasibility studies, including site evaluation, marketpotential, concept development and financial viabilitycalculations.

The Scope of Services varies from providing the neededtechnical assistance for the project in the design andconstruction phase to the preparation of operationalstart-up requirements giving specific assistance in thedevelopment and management of Sports facilities andservices.

3.Operational Management

From the time the club becomes operational, we will beresponsible to the owners for establishing andoverseeing comprehensive management services forthe club, and for maintaining the quality control of theoperation.

We will recruit all club staff, including department heads,and will be responsible for the coordination andsupervision of all aspects of the club’s managementsystem, including food and beverage operations,accounting and administration, all sports operations,member relations and club promotions, etc.

We will also oversee and continue with all developmentand marketing services initiated during the pre-opening phase, which would logically extend intooperations.

Kids SportsThe Kids Sports Division is responsible for designing and organizing a series of

sports camps and programs for schools and kids in order to:

• Give the children the opportunity to participate in something they love and enjoy without the stress of high level competition and necessity of high skill level.

• Give the children the opportunity to succeed in something and maybe taste some glory before being thrust into the adult world.

• Teach the children through sports the types of lessons they need to know in order to succeed in life. Lessons like teamwork, work ethic, what it takes to be a winner and how to learn from defeat are equally important as other lessons learnt in classes.

• Give the right guidance and support to the children whose progress and skills can enable them to enter and excel in the more competitive sports world.

The Kids Sports Divisionhas designed a multi-event calendar to be

implemented in the 2009 season which includes the following programs:

In November 2009, S-Team launched its first Junior FitCenter in Dandy Mall, with the main objective being

giving the kids the necessary foundations for a healthy life through diverse, interactive and fun-filled fitness and sports programs and events.

The Events & Special Projects Divisionis responsible for management & organizing Special Sports Events & Projects on both the

recreational and professional levels. The company adopts a professional approach in organizing these events and offers its services for both the private and public sectors, managing the project from the early stages of planning to marketing and implementation

HaBaWaBa is the acronym for Happy Baby WaterBall, a Festival thatwas established in 2008 followingan initiative of Waterpolo Development (WPD), anItalian Association founded by several champions andfriends of water polo.

The event is supported by the International AquaticInstitutions namely, FINA (World AquaticsFederation), LEN (European Aquatics Federation),COMEN (Mediterranean Aquatics Federation) andNational Federations.

The first edition of the HaBaWaBa InternationalFestival was held in Castelvolturno – Caserta, Italy in2008 and following year has been moved to LignanoSabbiadoro, Udine - Italy, experiencing since then animportant evolution.

During these 8 years HaBaWaBa reached theparticipation of 1,375 boys and girls, coming from120 teams, 15 different countries.

In March 2016, Water PoloDevelopment signed anagreement with our companyS-TEAM Sport Managementaccording to which S-TEAMacquired the right to be thesole organizer and promoterof the HaBaWaBa Festival inEgypt and Africa.

In July 2016, a meeting washeld in Lignano, Italybetween HaBaWaBaorganizers all over the world,where S-Team presented theplans to organize the FirstHaBaWaBa Egypt Festival inthe beautiful city ofHurghada.

Accreditation & Licensing

S-TEAM became the first company in Egypt to acquire accreditation & licensing from internationally renowned swimming organizations. These licenses allow us to use the most advanced teaching & training techniques and procedures to be able to develop the experience and skills of both our instructors and swimmers.

S-TEAM Swimming Schools in Egypt

SwimAmerica is the leader of Learn-to-Swim Program all over the world. It was initiatedby the American Swimming Coaches Association. In 2008, S-TEAM was able toacquire the SwimAmerica License to be the pioneer of International SwimmingAcademies in Egypt.

In June 2008, S-Team partnered with Wadi Degla Clubs to establish the firstSwimAmerica licensed Swimming School in Egypt. The second branch followedafter two weeks with 1100 kids in the first month. The Program started with anASCA certified Program director and 70 certified trainers.

In 2016, the number of kids training under SwimAmerica in 5 Wadi Degla Clubsreached a monthly average of 12,000 kids, training with almost 400 certifiedtrainers & administrators under the supervision on 3 Program Directors.

In 2016, the ‘Wadi Degla SwimAmerica Fins’ Swimmers who started the program enteredtheir first official championship and in February 2016, they were able to capturethe first place in the Cairo Swimming Championship for both boys & girls inthe Under-12 age group and the second place in the Under-11 age group.
