Objectives :
• Practice setting realistic objectives , titles & invitations for different types of meetings.
• Prepare and manage all types of meetings : ( RTDs , Group presentations & Semposia )
using different A/V equipments.
What is meeting ?
A gathering of three or more persons sharing common objectives , where communications ,verbal and/or written , is primary mean of achieving those objectives.
Types of meeting :
• Group discussion / Round table discussion.• Group meeting / Group presentation.• Symposia / Conference .
For all meetings types :• Set the “ Meeting Objective “ .• Define the “ meeting Title “• Create the “ Meeting Invitations “.
Setting meeting objectives :
• To overcome certain problems or objections.• To promote a new concept , indication &
certain paper related to your product.• To launch new product.• To involve & gain KOLs.• To keep & improve contacts with juniors.• To increase sales potential of a hospital or
region.
Define the meeting title :
• Informative.• Attractive.• Represent the subject.• Understandable.• Brief & effective .
Create the meeting invitation :
• Name of the physician.• Name of the company.• Type of the activity.• The chosen title for the meeting.• Name of the speaker.• Place , date & time of the meeting.• Invitation must be personal.
“ Meetings Types “
1) Round table discussion or RTD:
• A method of meeting used by small group of participants to achieve a particular purpose.• Participants should :Brand heavy , Medium and non – prescribers.Contribute their own experience .Learn from each other.
2) Group presentation:
• Meeting at which Rep(s) talks on specific aspect or F/B , selling point or specific studies to over competitors and reach a specific commitment .
3) Symposium :
• Meeting at which several talk on various aspects of the same subjects , uncovering either different facets or variety of views .
