BACCARATBaccarat, Mini – Baccarat and Midi – Baccarat involves just a few decisions: how much you want to bet and whether to bet on the bank, the player or the tie bet. In betting on the bank, the casino will collect 5% commission on money won. The commission is paid at the conclusion of each shoe. A winning tie bet pays 8 to 1.

In Baccarat, Mini – Baccarat and Midi – Baccarat, the cards are shuffled by the dealer, placed in the shoe and all cards are dealt by the dealer only.

The game starts with the initial four cards dealt alternately from the shoe to form two hands: one called the player’s hand, the other the banker’s hand.

In Baccarat, Mini – Baccarat and Midi – Baccarat, if the point count of either hand is 8 or 9 (called a “Natural”), no more cards will be dealt. If the bank does not have a “Natural,” the player draws a third card on totals of 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 or stand with 6, 7, 8 and 9. The cards are dealt according to fixed rules. No more than one additional card will be drawn to each hand. The hand closest to 9 wins and shall be paid at odds 1 to 1. If both the player’s and the banker’s hands result in identical totals, the tie bet wins, but the player’s and banker’s hands neither win nor lose.

Tens and face cards have a value of 0. For example, a 5 card and a 4 card equal a “Natural 9.” If your total is over 9, then the left digit is dropped and the right digit will be the point value of the hand. For example, an 8 card and a 7 card total 15. The left digit is dropped, and thepoint total is now five (5).
