Responsible for the data integrity and maintenance of the planning application and for being the liaison between the Merchandise Planning and the Information Technology groups.

Regional RecruiterThis position will analyze staffing needs and develop/implement cost-effective recruitment strategies for our field while identifying qualified candidates that reflect rue21’s values and meets the requirements of the job. The selected candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of recruitment processes from sourcing candidates, screening resumes, networking and interviewing. As rue21 continues to expand, executing new store openings, regarding on-site job fairs, pre-location networking and recruitment of all new store teams will be of high importance. Other responsibilities consist of extensive cold calling, reference checks, accurate record keeping of candidate activities and the coordinating of interviews with hiring team. The Regional Recruiter will also provide ongoing support and training to field management teams on how to effectively source, screen, interview, select and retain individuals within their markets.

Director of TrainingThis role will design and deliver training and development initiatives/programs that drive sales and profitability, while building the capability needed to achieve short and long term business goals. Design and facilitate the delivery of training programs and workshops that support Company initiatives. Meet with training-based vendors to identify programs that may be incorporated into our existing training programs. Prepare agendas, presentations and handouts for annual conferences with District Managers. Oversee training of new District Store Managers and District Sales Manager in Training Program and Management Advancement Development Program. Determine training needs and monitor their progress through communication with the field leadership teams. Ensure all new stores receive the training materials necessary for a successful opening.

Brand Marketing ManagerTo help us continue our phenomenally and successful growth, we are looking to add a creative marketer who will generate and execute great ideas. This person will report to the head of marketing and be part of a hardworking team. The Brand Manager will have exceptional creativity in building our brand, expanding into new markets, designing, and execution of key initiatives. Researching and comparing of current industry strategies and trends in the Juniors/Young Men’s apparel market will be of high importance in order to identify a competitive edge for our brand. Product Development TechnicianThis individual will partner with buyers relating to style, fit and garment construction and quality. Responsibilities include attend fittings and prepare size specifications, communicate to vendors regarding fit recommendations, approve color and fabric specifications, and keep accurate record of fittings, samples and communication. Must have excellent organizational and communication skills, possess a sense of urgency, be detail oriented and have an understanding of fashion clothing, fabrics and garment construction.

Director of PlanningThis individual will lead and drive the Merchandising, Planning and Forecasting strategy. Responsible for production plans and inventory levels to support sales plans of multiple categories. Consistently manage resources, flow and goods on hand and in transit to optimize revenue and control balance sheet. Prepare plans and reconciles historical data, assortments plans developed by the Buyer, with the merchandise financial plan with the trend of the business. Review weekly and monthly sales, gross profit and inventory results and coordinates subsequent re-forecasting estimates with team. Present the forecast in the monthly OTB Financial Review meeting to identify and communicate opportunities and risks. Prepare and manage the open-to-buy to ensure optimal performance is achieved by month, quarter and season, while managing to planned goals. Develop and approve lifecycle plans including promotional markdown strategies and exit strategies to maximize profitability. Forecast sales, markdown, and gross profit impact of both Company and specific category promotions. Ensure all promotions fit within the financial forecast. Effectively manages and supports the career development of staff to ensure career satisfaction, retention and to identify and develop bench strength.

Merchandise PlannerDevelop, manage and project category level buying plans. Make long term buying recommendations and decisions that will support planned volume by merchandise category. React to shifts in business by category to keep markdowns and over or under inventory situations to a minimum to protect and grow business sales and profitability. Build, manage and shift financial buying plans and the open-to-buy by categories and sub-categories. In season projections - recommend adjustments to sales, mark downs and flow based on business trends and product performance. Develop pre-season and in-season buying financial plans for sku’s, programs, and categories. Provide strategic direction to ensure increased sales and profitability. Analyze promotional strategies to determine profitability and make recommendations for improvement.Develop projections and ensure that orders are placed for core and key items.

Assistant PlannerThis position will work directly with the Planning Team to assist with all administrative functions of the Department. Job duties include analyze sales data to make merchandise-driven recommendations, updating/maintaining merchandise statistics, establishing open communication between Planning, Allocation, and Buying Departments. Must be detail oriented, able to multitask, possess a strong proficiency in Word and Excel, and have an interest in retail.

Director of AllocationManages the financial success by meeting or exceeding sales, gross margin and inventory turn goals. Develop metrics to monitor forecast accuracy and service levels. Drives results by translating knowledge of size selling, geographic and store attribute performance and trends into allocation action plans. Partners with cross functional leaders to communicate allocation strategies that support planned merchandising and financial objectives. Prepare seasonal assortment plans and execute initial merchandise release i.e. build and maintain assortment flow sheets, department/size grading. Execute replenishment in concert with regular sales review and adjust to match sales plan for end of season. Develop and utilize strong understanding of store specific and regional sales trends and performance through data analysis and open lines of communication with field counterparts. Execute new store opening process in concert with cross-functional team members i.e. set inventory levels to match assortment and pro-forma sales plan.Ensure that seasonal risks and opportunities are identified based on historical data and current trends. Collaborate with direct reports to analyze weekly/monthly business as part of the "Business Unit" to understand trend, issues and opportunities to recommend actions. Effectively manages

Merchandise AllocatorThis position will assist the Merchandise Allocation Analyst with order entry, merchandising analysis and ad hoc reporting requests. Responsibilities include data-entry of allocations, merchandising weekly breakdown of allocations for distributing, updating new store charts/reports, and preparing selling recaps. Successful candidates will be detail oriented, accurate with numbers, well organized, possess excellent computer and communication skills, and handle multiple tasks in a very fast-paced environment.

AllocatorThis position executes initial new item allocations and determines fill in needs for existing items to stores. Mins and max’s by style, sales trends and selling week of supply must all be reviewed to determine unit needs by store. Resolve any receiving issues working with the DC and merchandise control to ensure production goals are achieved. Execute initial allocations of new product to stores based on historical data, trend and store density. Carefully monitor min’s and mix’s by style and adjust as needed for appropriate store presentation. Determine if fill in units are needed for existing product by carefully reviewing all stores inventory levels, sales volume and week of supply. Communicate the appropriate units needed and adjust flow accordingly and execute fill in allocation. Resolve any receiving issues with the DC and merchandise control that could jeopardize Allocation production goals.

Allocation AnalystResponsible for analyzing store risks and opportunities down to a class and style level. Must react appropriately with store allocations. Works closely with planning and merchant teams adjusting flow and recommending layer buys for top stores. Accountable for achieving weekly production goals which match sales goals and prioritizing PO allocations on a daily basis. Analyze historical data and current trends by store to identify risk and opportunities by dept, class and style. Develop allocation scales and appropriately adjust allocations to stores.

Payroll ManagerThis position will direct multi-state payroll, supporting our chain of 350 stores, a distribution center, and our corporate office. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of our in-house payroll department function including processing, tax compliance, employee supervision, and leading all payroll department growth and transition initiatives. Experience in new system implementation along with a background in the retail industry or large scale payroll processing preferred.

Staff AccountantFinancial Analyst

BuyerThis position is responsible for all aspects of merchandise selection, vendor negotiation, as well as fashion trend and forecasting sense. Coordinates requirements, specifications, timing, and distribution for merchandise selection. Develop strategies and criteria for negotiations. Evaluate competitive offerings to determine the overall best offer for a product/service. Resolve quality problems with suppliers and user departments. Participate in cross-functional teams.

Develop effective supplier relationships. Develop/manage/evaluate relationships with other internal departments. Build the Brands in all activities; inclusive of quality and timely execution.Coordinate with marketing and visual departments for sales promotion and visual direction. Maintain and update open-to-buy daily, weekly and monthly.

Assistant BuyerSupport the Buyers in all product selection, price negotiation and purchasing decisions of the Merchandising Department. Manage formal communication i.e. purchase orders and changes thereon to vendor community. Work with vendors and buyers to support negotiation and flow of goods. Intermediary between buyers and vendors on coordination of samples, marketing, cancellation of orders, and recommendations. Assist and support merchandise quantities and assortment purchases.

Customer Service Call Center ManagerThis position is focused on monitoring, coaching and developing associates to achieve and ensure that legendary customer service is maintained at all times. Must have experience in managing day-to-day functions and operations. Directly handle customer service inquires and acts as a liaison for high profile customer issues. Develop action plans for maintaining and improving performance. Evaluate customer issues to ensure a timely response is given in an appropriate manner. Maintain consistent quality communication with team, peers and manager. Communicate regularly through meetings, feedback sessions and written communication to ensure two-way communication of information regarding company and outcomes and ideas/recommendations.

New Store Opening ManagerThe position will be responsible for the planning, coordination and completion of all new store openings. The position involves direct interface with the field operations teams, Real Estate Development team and with landlords, contractors, service providers and site planners at each store location. The role will develop and maintain a checklist for every site and identify key functions, personnel and target due dates and manage the completion of all items on the Store Opening Checklist. In addition, this role will also interface with Finance, IT, HR and Marketing Departments in planning store rollouts. This role will ultimate responsibility for the proper, on-time delivery of stores to meet store remodel openings, Grand Openings, training and staffing deadlines. Plan each store opening by populating target dates for all components of Store Opening Checklist.
