One side of my family started in Jalpa, Zacatecas. From there they moved to La Puente, California for a better life.
The other side of my family started in Germany and immigrated to Pennsylvania, which they settled there till they moved to California.

My family was part of the first wave of immigration (1600-1820) on my fathers side.
My mothers side from Mexico was apart of the fourth wave of immigration.(1918-Present)

My grandfather became apart of this sector when he settled in California. He started working on the railroads. Making rims for Airplanes. Then became a lumber jack in Mt. Shasta.
