INTRODUCTION
The following report presents the results of the limited diamond drilling program completed during the Summer and Fall of 1995. The exploration work was completed as part of an OPAP grant which was granted to Theodore Aho, prospector of Thunder Bay, Ontario.
The diamond drilling, completed by the prospector, was centered around the new surface showings which were uncovered last Summer by Ted Aho ( Opap 1994 ).
Anomalous gold values were intersected by drilling within zones of shearing injected by numerous narrow quartz veins and stringers.
The report was completed by Claude Larouche of Ovalbay Geological Services Inc., Thunder Bay, Ontario.
LOCATION AND ACCESS
The property is located in Moss Township, approximately 75 miles west of the city of Thunder Bay, Ontario. The claims are situated on NTS sheet 52B/10 and the area is present on claim map f G-676 entitled "Moss Township". The mining claims (see following list for numbers) are adjacent and they are all located within the Thunder Bay Mining District.
Access to the property (Figure 1) is obtained by driving west from Thunder Bay on Highway #11-17 and then on Highway f 11 to the Swamp Road intersection, approximately 10 miles west of Kashabowie, Ontario. From this intersection, a main lumber road ( Swamp Road ) heading south branches into numerous bush roads which lead to different portions of the property.

GEOLOGY
The Shebandowan Greenstone Belt forms part of the Wawa Subprovince of the Superior Structural Province of the Canadian Shield. The Wawa Subprovince extends eastward through Thunder Bay to the eastern side of Lake Superior. The western half of the greenstone belt, characterized by greenschist facies metavolcanic rocks , partly encircles a terrane of plutonic and amphibolite facies gneissic rocks to the south, referred to as the Sunbar - Batwing Lake Complex. The metasedimentary Quetico Subprovince abuts the Shebandowan Belt to the north, and Proterozoic rocks uncomformably overlap the southern part of the greenstone belt and the Sunbar - Batwing Lakes Complex.
The area under study is occupied by two (2) contrasting suites of older metavolcanic rocks: mafic to intermediate metavolcanic rocks, iron formation and intermediate ash flow rocks in the west and felsic metavolcanic rocks in the east. Metadiabase sills, emplaced mainly, if not solely, in the mafic metavolcanic terrain, are considered the oldest intrusions exposed. Metadiabase and both mafic and felsic metavolcanic rocks are cut by dykes and stocks of feldspar and feldspar - quartz porphyry, hornblende lamprophyre, quartz syenite and larger bodies of hornblende gabbro to diorite.

The deformation is very heterogeneous, partitioned mainly along narrow, very schistose, northeasterly striking high strain zones which are closely spaced in the Ardeen Mine area.
*
These zones are characterized by a strong lineation which mainly plunges gently southwest. Carbonate and sericite schists are characteristics of segments of some of the shear zones. The various shear zones in the Ardeen Mine area and the intersection of brittle fracture zones and one of the northeast trending carbonatized shear zone at Snodgrass Lake appear to exert the most significant influence on the localization of gold.
RECENT WORK
During the period of May 3rd, 1995 to October 8th, 1995, a limited exploration program including minor prospecting and 312.25 linear feet of diamond drilling was undertaken by Ted Aho as part of an OPAP 1995 grant.
The prospecting has been conducted by Ted Aho, and was oriented mainly to localized the best areas to carry on diamond drilling. The traverses are presented on the accompanying map ( in pocket ) at the metric scale of l 1,000.

REMARKS
ABANDONED BROKEN BIT
ABANDONED BROKEN BIT
A description ( Log ) for every drill hole is presented in appendix along with a copy of the assay certificates and a cross - sections.
The drill holes were logged by Andreas Lichtblau of Ovalbay Geological Services Inc. following a brief description by Terry Olford.
The locations of the holes were also chained one from another and are presented on the accompanying map at the metric scale of l ** 1,000. One casing of BQ diamond drilling completed by Matt Berry in 1987 ( hole 87-6 ) has been located in the area and has been plotted on the map along with a few other holes drilled by Matt Berry in the general area.

RESULTS
The limited diamond driling program permitted to investigate the surface gold showings which are characterized by gold - bearing quartz stringers and veins ( up to 3 feet wide) injected within chlorite and sericite shear zones of variable widths. These shear zones are located within mafic volcanics and dykes of porphyry are locally present within the mafic volcanics.
The results of the diamond drilling is presented in the following table:

The drilling intersected anomalous gold values in most of the holes but over narrow width except for hole 95-02 where the zone of shearing is 15 feet wide.
A compilation of the previous work has also been included on the accompanying map. * It becomes evident, from this compilation, that the better known gold bearing structure, the 11 Beaver Vein " was not intersected by the present diamond drilling. Nevertheless, the recent drilling confirmed the presence of at least three parallel gold - bearing structures including the "Beaver Vein" south of the recent work.
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
It is concluded that the property under study has good exploration potential for gold deposition. The presence of numerous gold bearing shear zones hosting quartz veins and stringers with anomalous gold values has been confirmed.
It is recommended to continue the systematic exploration of the property under study along the lateral extensions of the known surface gold showings. It is possible that the different shear zones may join together along strike or at depth.
The next exploration program should include detailed prospecting on the rest of the claims, detailed geological mapping, stripping and trenching and diamond drilling. Numerous other gold showings are known on the studied property.
