Objectives Of The Study

• To evaluate the organization and working of the Routeroys Company.

• To study in detail about the production process and analyze its various aspects

• To analyze the efficiency of operations and machineries this company.

• To study the personal problems, working of the trade union.

• To study the marketing and selling arrangement of the society.

• To find out the reason for reduced profit.3

Methodology

For the completion of the present study primary and secondary data’s are used. Primary data are collected through personal interviews with the administrative staff like managers, accountant and factory staff. The secondary data are taken from the audit memorandum of the company, official website, journals, other websites related to footwear industry. The production process, raw materials, plant layout etc. of the company are shown in the form of charts and diagrams.

In 2002, Routeroys was registered as a private limited company

The unit possesses P.M.T, SSI registration issued by the district industries center, Calicut

The firm upgraded its technology in 2003 and it started using polyurethane as the material to produce lightweight, durable and eco-friendly footwear

Routeroys Pvt. Ltd., one of the leading companies in manufacturing of PVC and PU footwear in Kerala. Customers are very satisfied with the price and quality of the product. It is having professional management highly dedicated employees. With this slowly it is grabbing the market share. The main positive point for the company is availability of raw materials at competitive price. The company has made a remarkable role in PVC and PU footwear industry.
