• The Museum Caesaraugusta Forum is located under the floor of the La Seo square and it houses archaeological remains of Augustus and Tiberius,
and a number of archaeological finds during excavations between 1988
and 1991. • It was Opened in 1995.

• The Museum of the Forum is owned and municipal management and along with public museums Spa
(Roman thermal bath), River fluvial port and Caesaraugusta Theatre ,
part of Caesaraugusta Road. A route designed to discover the Roman
Zaragoza.

The cave
• On May 18th 2010 , coinciding with the annual celebration of International Museum Day , opened
at the Museum of the Forum a new permanent exhibition called Yesterday and today
Caesaraugusta Forum , which have been synthesized and updated knowledge generated in
research on the monument . • These data are reflected in three models
( volumetric and two planes) and the projection of a virtual recreation , which offers insights into the
large statutory grounds , wander through the gates , cross the square or circle the statue of
Emperor Tiberius .

• The museum has two floors or levels visitable . On the first level are
preserved archaeological remains and models Caesaraugusta Forum .
At the second level , through audiovisual and models the visitor
back in time to model Caesaraugusta .
• Among the oldest architectural remains vestiges of a commercial area and pipes of drinking water supply , a sewer and walls of shops on the time of
Emperor Augustus preserved. • From time of Tiberius will find remains of the forum of the city with foundations of a portion of the porch, local annexes , a sewer and channels to collect rainwater . Pieces for everyday use in Roman times, found in the excavations of the
square of the Cathedral , with explanatory drawings that recreate their uses are also
presented .
