SOLGM Annual Summit & Industry Networking2
The SOLGM Annual Summit and Industry Networking is the annual ‘must
attend’ event for local government professionals and decision makers. It brings
together those charged with managing the delivery of services to their local
communities, central government officials who work closely with the sector
and industry partners. SOLGM’s Annual Summit and Industry Networking
(previously known as The SOLGM Annual Conference) is designed to be
practical, accessible and inclusive of all of those who work in and with the local
government sector.
Summit delegates are primarily Chief Executives, senior managers and
emerging managers from local authorities across New Zealand. They attend this
annual event to discuss issues of significance to the sector, explore emerging
trends and to share ideas and information with peers, colleagues and industry
partners.
ABOUT SOLGM
SOLGM is the membership organisation that promotes excellence in local
government professionals by providing support and access to sector specific
professional development opportunities, expert advice and resources.
We run a full training programme tailored to local government requirements
which is designed to build the capability of both managers and their staff.
We are the voice of local government professionals and advocate on their
behalf.
We have over 500 members, primarily senior managers, including Chief
Executives, from local authorities throughout New Zealand.
