• Enterprise Ventures is a fund management company

• Investment focus in the North of England

• Funds under management:-– RisingStars – Early-Stage Technology >£250k - £1000k

– Coalfields – Generalist Enterprsie Fund ~£500k

– Rosebud – Generalist Lancashire Fund - £5k - £500k

• Offices in Leeds, Manchester and Preston.

• Also located in Rotherham with the South Yorkshire Investment Fund

• 9 investment managers

Technology Funds

• Three dedicated technology funds under management:-– RisingStars – £19m, fully invested and managing the portfolio

– RisingStars II - £14 and currently investing

– South Yorkshire Seedcorn Fund – £2m and currently investing

• RisingStars II is 100% commercial money

• South Yorkshire Seedcorn Fund co-invests with RisingStars II on deals in South Yorkshire

• ~40 deals to date: typical £200-500k first round commitment

• We follow our money from proof of concept, through commercialisation and to exit
