RF Applications Engineer Has sending data from A to B via various networking technologies always been of interest? What you’ll do Pycom has a portfolio of development boards that are maintained and continually developed further from a firmware and a network features point of view. The main objective of this role is to support all the vaious IoT networks available on Pycom’s development boards and OEM modules including supporting the embedded team, the manufacturing activities, test and certification activities as well as Pycom’s developer community and customers.

Your duties will include

• Helping Pycom bring new products and solutions to market by supporting Pycom’s multi-network IoT programs and Projects.

• Development and testing of IoT devices using Cellular NBIoT/CAT-M1, LoRa Sigfox, WiFi and Bluetooth

• Contribute to device firmware and application development • Participation in customer projects to deliver support on IoT networking requirements.

What we need from you

• A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, with RF/Radio content • Knowledge and understanding of analogue and digital communications via embedded

systems • Experience RF development and testing on wireless technologies, such as WLAN,

Bluetooth, Cellular (LTE-M (CAT-NB1 and CAT-M1), LoRa/LoRaWAN and Sigfox • Experience using general RF test equipment such as spectrum/network analyser,

signal generator, RF power meter, cellular test set etc • A high learning agility and an interest in working in a start-up development

environment • Ability to deliver work independently or as a team to defined deadlines • Knowledge of programming languages like C, C++, Python or Java. • Ability to work in Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
