Winter work weather conditions included temps to -28f air with wind chills at -45f to -55f. Heavy snow drifting, and ground blizzards were weekly. Utility inspector for lines located northeast of Scranton PA. Work included inspection of all phases of utility work for 4 separate laterals, of 12” and 16” Gas Gathering systems. Ref: Jim Lyons 2011 Pipeline TransCanada- ANR-Southwest 24” Gas Line, Kansas. TCPL Rapid Response Team. Active Controller. Perform 5 excavations. Field Document Controls. Blow down and cut out& replace pipe at two sites, one of which included a leak. Armor Wrap 3 sites. Perform external pipe evaluations and external lazar survey. Locations identified by smart pig ILI survey. Armor Wrap installed while line in service at reduced operating pressures at non cut out sites. Ref: David Coker 2011 Pipeline TransCanada – ANR Fairfax Lateral Gas Line. Active Control. Perform inspection of 733ft loop. Loop installed due to Missouri River flood and washout of approx. 250ft of mainline. Mainline suspended at approx. 35ft above historic Missouri River bottom site.
