Subjunctive Rules• When to use the subjuntive– When you are not sure of something

• What may or may not happen• What may or may not exist• Etc.

• How to Conjugate in the PRESENT SUBJUNTIVE– Go “Yo”

• First conjugate in the first person present tense– Drop “O”

• Drop the “O” on the end of the regular verbs– Add the “Oppo”

• Add the opposite letter of the infinitive conjugation– AR –> E; ER, IR –> A

Irregular Subjunctive• Some verbs that are irregular in the subjunctive tense are:

– Dar– Ir– Saber– Haber– Estar– Ser

• You conjugate these verbs as follows:– Dé– Vaya– Sepa– Haya– Esté– Sea
