Hybrid Initiative Part of a CUNY-wide initiative to increase the number of hybrid (33 –
67% online) course offerings at campuses started in Spring 2010 Program participants develop a hybrid course section, under the
guidance of a mentor (current Hybrid course instructor) and EdTech staff members
Participants attend a series of required workshops ETLC members review the courses using the Hybrid Designation
“checklist” developed by the ETLC and approved by the Office of Academic Affairs
ETLC Approved course sections are offered the following semester Participants and mentors are paid a stipend
