Going to our first-year o-site retreat and having a few parties at John Barleycorn in Lincoln Park. Being with Katie Blossfield and Bill Peace when Peter Stratil mistakenly said he would examine using a ‘grid-like passion’ instead of ‘grid-like fashion.’ It’s nearly impossible to pick a favorite memory.
- Pat Basu, MD’05, MBA’05
The entire graduation week, starting with the Senior Skit that I had the privilege of helping produce and culminating in the Graduation Banquet and Graduation itself. My mom was in the last stages of breast cancer and this would be her last hurrah as well as the last chance for our whole family to be together before she passed. I couldn't ask for better people or a better place and event to spend her last days and I will always be grateful for everyone who had a part in this amazing part of my life.”
- Christopher “Kit” J. Young, MD’89
I remember (fondly now!) long nights of basic science study sessions in our M1 and M2 years with John and Pam Gallagher, Jim Hedrick, Tom Krueger, and Dick Minter.
