• After tasks are generated they are grouped at a store level
• An estimated daily rate of lost sales (LSV) is calculated for each task• This calculation is simply the expected unit sales for the
zero sales period, divided by the days of zero sales and then multiplied by the unit retail
• ((Expected Units)/(Zero sales Days)) * (Unit Retail)
• Each task’s LSV is summed up at a store level
• Stores are then ranked based on their total LSV value with the highest LSV getting the highest rank
